the greatest coffee!!
coffee great very expensive the biggest problem is the absolute idioys they have working there are so miserable and never get it right!!

Coffee shops are fab.....Machines are drab!!!
So tonight I went into my local tesco only to find a costa coffee machine, Brilliant I thought- after a long hard day, A nice hazlenut hot chocolate will see me right. The ball and chanin was attached to my arm too so I went to the machine to order 2x of the above.
To my horror!!! No hazlenut flavour again. I have visited many of the same machines that contain a free flavour with your drink. This particular machine did have a caramel flavor though for the h.c...so onwards and upwards we thought. We left the supermarket and purchasing our drinks and as we steadily drove around the car park to the exit....The coffee was cool, not HOT, but cool!!!!
After a couple of sips though the taste of the caramel was stonger than the taste of the h.c and unfortunately both cups were deposited in the local dumpster as the flavouring was far far TOO STRONG!!
Basilly I paid £4.60 to line a dustbin with caramel flaovoured cool chocolate!!! I feel strongly that I searched out this website to write this very review and sorry...costa.....Its not a good one this time

IS it that hard to get an order correct?
Order a latte, get a black coffee ... Maybe if the staff listened and spoke English they would have a better chance. The price is crazy too.

Coffee break
Store reference: 43022580. I visited this store in Worcester Park, Surrey and purchased a small Americano. I like to read your papers and enjoy a lunchtime coffee. However, on this occasion, a large group of VERY noisy kids came in, without an adult present and shouted so loudly, it ruined my whole experience. A member of your staff told them to keep it down, but they ignored her, so I had to leave. It was that bad.
Surely, if people cannot show consideration and respect for others then THEY should be asked to leave? Why should your regular customers have to suffer? Also, your staff member did not swipe my coffee card, despite me giving it to him, I did not notice this until I returned home & looked at the receipt.

Costa fortune.
Ok Costa coffee has nice leather chairs and the large coffee will last you an hour.
My problem is its overpriced and tastes bitter and if you get a small cake or a biscuit with the coffee the price shoots up even further. On a saturday afternoon all the nice chairs are gone and I have to sit on the ricketty table next to the toilets and Im not paying over the odds for that privaledge.

nice people
use these quite often ( Mostly Hanover street, Edinburgh, Fenchurch St, London & Basildon). When visit staff always polite & pleasant. Surroundings good, although looking out across to Edinburgh Castle and the surrounding old town via the Mound & princes street takes some beating. The one in the St andrews centre (Edinburgh) good also but the one with the entrance in Princes Street is always too hot, glass roof not helping here. Heat here costing a star.
