Order came on time, but hardly any communication from customer services. With other companies I've being kept up-to-date all the way through from order to delivery. I had to check that it had been sent out, where a simply email would have done Got my name wrong on this form.

I needed three heated towel rails, looked all over for price comparison and Bath Empire had the best deal. Paid for next day delivery and they turned up next day. No fuss , no bother, job done. A towel rail is a towel rail wherever you get it.
ordered concealed valve shower kit at great price. All parts look good. Haven't tested them yet as they are being fitted - so far great experience!
I highly recommend Bath Empire. I saved a lot of money buying through this site when we had our bathroom refitted. The builder took the name down of the site because he couldn't believe the savings we made on our purchases. The service on the phone was excellent very friendly and helpful. The delivery was quick with no problems when the items arrived.
My telephone order was delt with very effiiently and in a friendly manner, I was told that the delivery company would call and arrange a time suitable for us.
This happened a couple of days prior to the delivery, I was given a am or pm chioce and the goods arrive on time.
Cannot fault the service.
Was dreading searching for a shower enclosure & mixer unit on line but BathEmpire site made it so simple. Info on the product was clear..good photo images & fitting details.
Speedy delivery with a curtesy call from the delivery driver in advance -this was a real bonus! Item was well packaged & intact on arrival to my remote rural address.
Plumber on hand to fit the unit this weekend-bit concerned he has no instruction sheet for shower mixer but we will get there. Would definately use BathEmpire again as price,service & delivery were spot on!!
as there were no instructions included in the package and also no invoice l had to phone to ask for these. The instructions were sent by email and could have been a lot better all in all have received better admin quality from other sources.
Firstly, the price is very good, as is the array of options available, so full marks there. Secondly, some of the staff were very helpful and eager to please. Mostly.
The first niggle, however, centred around payment. I live in a flat, and therefore seem to have a number of ways to write my address. When trying to pay, I was told by bathempire that each time I gave my address, the authorisation was rejected by my credit card company on the grounds that my address didn't match their records. When I called my credit card company, they checked their records and said that there was no problem, and that they had indeed authorised payment. Back to bathempire, they said: no, the transaction hadn't been authorised by the credit card company, and they had tried several times. Back to the credit card company, and *they* said that they had approved multiple transaction requests by bathempire.. The money hadn't actually come off my credit card, but the authorisation credit *had* been, meaning that I basically couldn't use my credit card for a week until the authorisation for the four-figure sum had expired. I still don't know why bathempire couldn't take the money, but I basically had to ask a friend to help out and pay for me, then pay them back later. Quite frustrating, and I still don't know why there was a problem, when clearly the credit card company said the problem lay with bath empire.
The second and more major problem for me started off with a problem with one of the components - a simple plug. I had ordered a plug based on the advice of the sales assistant. When it arrived, it turned out it was the wrong one. "No big deal", I thought, "they seemed decent on the phone, they'll soon sort this out, I'm sure".
I called bathempire and explained, and I expected something along the lines of " no problem sir, please accept our apologies for sending the wrong component. We'll get the correct one sent to you right away. Send the other one back when you can".
But ... what I got was a pretty miserable "you'll have to buy another one. We will refund you your money for the old one when you send it back". I was pretty miffed, and they didn't seem to care when I underlined that the mistake was theirs, and that I had been a pretty good customer of theirs, considering the amount of money I had spent. But it fell on deaf ears, and they just spoke over me.
It got even MORE frustrating. Since I work every day, and in the middle of the countryside, it's incredibly difficult for me to get to a post office to post the old one back. As luck would have it, I only live around 15miles away from bathempire, so I offered to help save everyone's time, money and effort by simply returning the "wrong" component to them in person one evening (their sales office is open until 9pm or something). This way, they needn't post it, they needn't wait for the wrong one, and I'd get my correct plug. Simple and quick, I thought!
But no! It payed out something like this, when I offered to bring the wrong plug back and buy the correct one:
- "What time do you want to come sir?".
- "About 8. Or whenever really, I'm flexible after 6."
- "Let me check with my supervisor"
"We can't do that sir. The warehouse shuts at 4pm."
"But surely you can book out a simple plug and leave it with someone, can't you?"
I think I hung up in frustration after that - pretty seething at how inflexible they had been.
BUT.. A day or two later, I called up and asked to speak to the rather helpful and likeable sales assistant who had processed my original order. I explained what had happened. To my pleasant surprised, I got something akin to the following:
"I'm so sorry sir, that was our mistake. Please accept our apologies. We will send you the correct plug right away. No charge. You needn't send back the old one. It was out fault."
I think there's a mixture of star ratings in there, starting with 4, then down to three, then one, then five. I'd say 3 out of 5 is fair, given what I experienced. But I'd definitely use them again. Just make sure you ask to speak to Vicky.
I received tap all ok looked like picture without any damage, not plumbed in yet.
Customer service line was not that helpful as I originally ordered 2 taps but one was out of stock and had no alternative and was not really willing to help.
Probably would not use bath empire again because of the service.
Bought my kitchen mono block mixer taps in February looked very good value.Had a plumber to fit them at a cost of £85.Started to drip badly in June. I bath replaced them after numerous phone calls. Cost me another £80 to have fitted.Works out very expensive if you've got to change them
Saved me about £15 as seen same product in B&Q, shows it pays to shop online, thx.
I ordered a toilet, sink and surrounding unit in May and received the items following day. The items were placed to one side in the new house awaiting the plumber to install them.
He came on 12th June to install but found the toilet was cracked when he opened the box (which was unmarked and undamaged).
I rang Bath Empire who said that all damaged goods should be reported within 7 days. Unfortunately nearly a month had gone by.. but she said I should send photos of the damage to Aftersales Dept.
They e-mailed me within 24 hours and are replacing the item concerned, on next day delivery
YOU CANNOT GET BETTER THAN THAT.
THey are an example of how customer service should be.

Really excellent product; speedy delivery and just what I wanted. A good quality finish. I am really pleased all round. There is just one thing I would say and that is that you recommend filling the radiator with a special rust inhibitor and anti-freeze - it took me ages to find some and then had to buy 5 litres as no-one did a smaller amount. It would be great if a small pack could be included in the kit as it would just make life a bit easier.
Very pleased with the shower. It is well made and looks great. Bath Empire's prices are good and the website and ordering process are first rate - I would happily recommend them.
