Information Shortfall
I have previously used Black Circles and was happy with the service so returned to buy another set of tyres. This time I was looking for a specific tyre and initially only saw one speed rated H. This seemed fine as the rating goes up to 130mph and my car does not go anywhere near that speed. The fitting garage contacted Black Circles who in turn contacted me to suggest that I need a V rated tyre as the speed rating includes a load rating also and there may be implications with my insurer should I be involved in an accident. The V rated tyre was on the website but not next to the H rated one instead it was at the bottom of the webpage and I missed it! Black Circles were happy to exchange before the fitting date but I would have to pay an additional £13 delivery. I decided that would make the tyres too expensive so I opted to keep the H rated ones. However Black Circles insisted I sign a waiver at the garage to avoid any blame etc......The car was MOT'd the next day and passed.
As tyre technology/ratings, labelling etc., become increasing more complicated I suggest that the website keep pace. Group tyres of the same type in one place and provide sufficient information so that the lay person cannot go wrong. If that includes warnings about ratings, legislation then so be it. Internet purchasing is great when it works but be warned it currently cannot replace the expert standing next to you in the garage!

Our website is intended to try and ensure that the tyre details are as clear as possible for our customers to make an informed choice and to this end; we have incorporated a number of filters to narrow down the available choices.
The process begins with a request for the specific speed rating to be entered when adding your required size and the results can then be further filtered by cost, fitment, brand and load rating. Where no filters are selected – the listings are displayed in order of price.
As our system is automated to ensure that all orders are processed as swiftly as possible; the issue regarding the speed rating did not immediately come to light and when a tyre is despatched as ordered, we then incur additional charges to return the goods. If we are to maintain our competitive prices –we are unable to absorb these additional costs and we are sorry if you feel that this in any way inappropriate. Our returns policy is fully compliant with the Distance Selling Regulations.
Although many vehicles are not capable of being driven at the outright maximum speed of a particular tyre, any deviation from the vehicle manufacturer’s original equipment can cause problems with insurers and in these cases we will always ask our customers to confirm that they are happy to proceed despite our advice.

Excellent prices, easy to use website, great local service.
I was looking for the best price for replacement Michelin tyres and found Blackcircles.com could beat most on-line. I selected the local fitter and received a further discount. I was able to book a time to suit myself which was confirmed by email. When I arrived at the garage (just 1.5 miles away) they confirmed my order and fitted within the hour. The price included fitting and balancing, the tyres were genuine and the exact spec ordered. I'll definitely use this service again.

From first seeing the website to driving away with the new tyres fitted, this was a smooth, slick and professional operation. The prices were the best and the fitters fast and professional (even cleaning fingermarks off the wheels after fitting the new tyres. I shall definitely be going back to blackcircles when I need more tyres.

Excellent service and brilliant tyres!
Really simple user friendly website - ordered online and paid on Thursday, tyres were shipped to my local garage and fitted on Tuesday. Excellent service, wouldn't hesitate to use again and thoroughly recommend!

Would definitely use again.
Their mobile site was not working properly (not taking payments), so I phoned instead. The lady (Anne) who took the call was very helpful & apologised about the website. As I had all the details of what I needed it was a quick & easy call. Anne even phoned through to Concorde Auto centre (who were also very good) for me to see if they still had the appointment slot available that I had tried to get the day before, this was the next day. All in all a really good experience.

Excellent value and great communication
Found the tyre for my car easily on black circles by simply entering my registration number, which produced a selection of suitable tyres for my vehicle .
Then it was simply a matter of choosing a fitting centre convenient to me ,and a suitable time to have the tyre fitted .
Emails updating me of the process kept me up to date with my order which was reassuring .
All in all a very smooth and painless process ,
and great value which is most important .
Will definitely use black circles in the future .

on track with the help of black circles
Prepping my bike for a track day 3 days later unfortunately found a pin in rear tyre (Z rated so can't be repaired) panic? no, ordered new one from black circles 11.30am delivered 12.15pm next day how's that for service. Fitted scrubbed and ready to go in 2 days can't better that. Had a great time thanks to black circles. Many thanks to all including the courier driver. John.

Great offers on Premium tyres
My first purchase with Blackcircles. Had no problem at all. Good range of tyres to select from. With various offers the price can be very attractive. I bought my tyres with MOT for fiver offer. My MOT is due next year so will have to wait to recover the savings. Good network of fitting centres and service at fitting centre was satisfactory. I have rated 4 starts because not sure how the experience will be at the time of claiming back the MOT cost next year. As of now everything was smooth and quick.

Great way of buying tyres

Quick and easy way of getting new tyres
I needed some new tyres for my car. I wanted to be able to compare different tyres, choose a suitable fitting location somewhere I hadn't been before, and I wanted to make sure I was getting good value. Booking on blackcircles.com was quick and easy, and the garage were ready and waiting for me at the appointed time. I also ran a quick price comparison, so I was also confident that I was getting good value. I'm very happy with the service and I would recommend it.

Runway Enduro £22 Cheaper than a standard fitter.
The Tyres I put on would have cost me £140 at my fitters in Cardiff. Through Black circles and CSMA discount £96 for the same tyres £44 saving. With flexibility of fitting I was able to have them fitted in Worcester while I attended a Business meeting.

When everything goes according to plan, as it did, and the experience is good you will use the company again. Although Blackcircles are a tyre wholesaler they have to ensure that the garage that fits the tyres is 'up to scratch'. The one I visited was more than satisfactory.

Beware - Old tyres
Blackcircles supply tyres that are up to 5 years old and claim that their trade association approve of this. The British Tyre Manufacturers Association recommend that tyres are changed between 5 and 7 years after manufacture. Blackcircles will do nothing if you complain after the tyres are fitted. If you use this company check the date stamp on the tyres BEFORE they are fitted and if you make enough of a fuss they will offer to take them back.

As only a loose wheel was brought to the garage for fitting and the vehicle was listed in your order as being a passenger car rather than the caravan that the tyres were intended for – we have followed the industry guidelines and have supplied stock that is less than 5 years old from the date of production. Had we been notified of your concerns prior to one of the tyres been fitted then the return of both units for a refund could have been arranged.

As with previous purchases from Blackcircle, the process worked without fault.
Having used Blackcircle many times, the process always works perfectly - tyres supplied and fitted at the pre-aranged schedule. Efficient, no-fuss experience. Before this purchase, I went through the AA to supply the tyres. The AA were cheaper, but when I arrived at the National Tyres fitting centre as used by the AA, their compressor was not working and they couldn't fit the tyres. Nobody called me, so a completely wasted journey. So I returned to Blackcircle. I repeat that I have never had any problem with Blackcircle. Excellent.

Very Easy
Great experience.
The website helps you find the correct tyre size and then helps you with recommended tyres.
Prices easy to understand and you can pay for fully fitted, with the tyres being delivered to the garage of your choice or just to have the tyres delivered to your home, which is cheaper.
Booking of garage for date I wanted was a breeze, they even include a map to help you find the place.
Many methods of payment.
Once order complete and booking made at garage Blackcircles email you with time of booking and give you a named contact within Blackcircles to contact if there are any problems.
On arrival at the garage they were aware of the booking and tyres were ready. By the time I had completed the small amount of paperwork required at the garage my tyres had been changed and I could just drive away.

efficient, well priced service with a choice of tyres to choose from
I had two tyres fitted to my x-trail. I chose the tyres I wanted from Blackcircles' informative web site, booked a fitting date online and paid on booking. Blackcircles promptly sent both confirmation and receipt which I simply had to present to the garage - Granvilles of st Annes. Fitting was completed on time and the car was even washed! I will use Blackcircles again whenever I need new tyres and would recommend them to everyone. Very happy with both price and professionalism of the whole experience

My 1st experience with Black Circles and I am very pleased.
Its so easy to check it out on the website, lots of great choices at really good prices.
All the information on Fuel economy, stopping power, road sound , and keen prices.
Checked lots of places but these came up best each time.
Just look for your vehicle needs then click the button to order. Pay and arrange where and when you want the tyres fitted. When I turned up at the garage they took the car straight away, told me it would be about an hour ,and hey presto 1 hour later 4 new tyres fitted. Really impressed and the tyres are excellent just been for a run of 80 miles and what a difference.
Will return to get tyres here when the little lady's car needs tyres replaced.
Thank you Black Circles and the Tesco points will come in handy also.

The tyres you actually want, when you want them
Contacted Black Circles as I was fed up with the limited choice of tyres at tyre fitters and also wanted a sensible price for them. It could not have been easier, tyres were ordered and Black Circles contacted me with a time to have them fitted. The fitters were RJM in Glenrothes, they were excellent. All in all I will be recommending Black Circles to my friends and certainly my next set of tyres will be from them.

As a woman, I as relieved and surprised by how quick and easy getting my tyres was!
I had recently purchased two tyres at another establishment purely because the centre was next door to my supermarket. The attitude was poor, the service unremarkable, the tyres costly, every little thing charged extra, and I stuck out like a sore thumb in the workshop, as a woman on my own. I ordered two more tyres and rebooked for the following month, only to be told the tyres weren't in, no apologies, no apparent interest in customer service. I drove home angry and decided to stop by a little back-street tyre garage to see if they could help. The young chap was lovely, happy, helpful, told me about Black Circles, got it up on the computer, showed me how to purchase my tyres, and made me feel very comfortable and safe in their hands. I just couldn't believe there were no extra costs! What you see on the screen is what you pay...end of! I ordered the tyres Saturday evening and had them fitted Wednesday. The service as fast, stress free and I drove away happy! Very impressed indeed. The added bonus was the £5 MOT voucher! Using BC saved me almost £100 in the long run. Can't beat that!

Top quality service with a friendly face
Great service again. I just sat down in the waiting room when I was asked to head back to the workshop. Couple of very small issues removing the nut covers and the wheels. I was shown the problem and ask how I wanted to take the next plan of action. I felt very pleased being told exactly what was going on in stead of just bashing on regardless. Just goes to show that your thought does count and they only want what's best.

Beats kwik fit hands down
Ordered 4 255x35x19 Michelin pilot sport 3 tyres, was over £100 cheaper than any other rival, fitting was done locally which I couldn't,t fault neither, a real plus too was the large amount of tesco points I,ll receive into the bargain, I will defiantly use black circles and would recommend to anyone
