I've had the misfortune to have these clowns handle some goods from amazon.co.uk and now johnlewis.com,and both times they have been useless and the tracking information on there web site is nothing but a pack of lies.amazon uk used these idiots to send an otterbox case for my samsung glaxy s3 23 DAYS TO ARRIVE TO JERSEY !!!then when it did it arrive it was left in a public hallway and the box had been opened and bits were missing amazon did not care one bit!!!then from amazon uk again a little nokia slide phone this time 19 DAYS TO ARRIVE again the box was damaged and looked as if it had been stood on and kicked around.then on the 12th of june 2103 i ordered a blu ray player from johnlewis.com and to my shock and horror they used these idiots to handle the goods.i emailed john lewis and told them about these idiots and the response was on no citylink are very good !!! on the17 th of june i looked on there hopeless tracking web site same lies as the 12th of june the goods have been scanned at out depot and are on route to the delivery depot.i emailed john lewis who got in contact with the clowns who told them that the parcel was never received at there depot!!SO IF THIS IS THE CASE HOW CAN THEY HAVE BEEN SCANNED AT THERE DEPOT AND ON ROUTE TO THE DELIVERY DEPOT IF THEY NEVER HAD THE BLU RAY PLAYER IN THE 1ST PLACE !!!!! LIES LIES AND MORE LIES UTTERLY HOPELESS AND BARE FACED LIARS !!!! i emailed john lewis back and asked for a refund and a few hours later they replied saying they had sent out a replacement blu ray player AND SENT IT OUT VIA CITYLINK !!! I WAS GOB SMACKED !!!!!just beggars belief now i've now requested a full refund from john lewis ill never use them again ever
This company is usless!! Expected to get my John Lewis parcel yesterday, never turned up! Phoned John Lewis and said it was a 'logistical' problem! Supposed to come today, check the tracking and it says i signed for it!! Eh no i never i signed for my amazon parcel that on their website doesnt say it has been delivered. So now i need to phone John Lewis and see where the damn thing is and if they will even believe me as the stupid thing says i signed for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ordered a bottle of espresso vodka from drinks direct as a fathers day present, the item was supposed to be delivered on 6th june. I tracked my parcel and apparently they had tried to deliver it whilst I wasnt in (I was home all day) and had left a note. I emailed drinks direct as nobody had been to the door and there was no note, I was emailed back a picture of the door as proof that they had attempted to deliver it, this was not my door!, I rescheduled delivery for the 10th and sent a picture of what my door actually looks like so the problem didnt happen again. The 10th finally came and my item was delivered, the box looked fine so I signed for it and went back inside. I opened the box to find a smashed bottle. I have sent several emails with images of the smashed product and I am still waiting on a reply.
I was waiting for some parcels, I did not receive a dispacth email from the seller or City-Link, so i had no idea when they were being sent. I got home from work around 5pm on a wednesday, to find a 'Sorry we missed you' card. It said to reschedule a delivery on the webiste, before 11pm that night, or they would automatically try again the next day. I thought that was crap as i had to go to work and nobody was available/willing to sit in my house and wait for it. When i went on the website, i contacted them via email to ask if i can arrange the delivery at a time better suited to me. I waited until around 10:30 that night and received no reply, I had to quickly reschedule it to the friday, before the 11pm cut off time. I got home from work on the thursday to find another card through my door, they had tried to deliver again, but i was at work (like most people on a weekday!!!). The card said, after 2 failed deliveries, i would have to pick the parcels up myself at the depot, which is an hour drive away. I called up the customer care line, who was helpful at the time, but in hindsight turned out to be utter bollocks! She said the delivery was still scheduled for Friday and asked me if there is anywhere the driver could put them, in case i was out. I told them my unlocked shed was ok and my neighbours could be in to accept it. I asked her if the delivery could be made after 2pm, when i finished early that friday. She said that would be fine and she would leave a note with the driver. Friday morning, i got a call at 10am from the driver, saying he was nearby and asked if i was in, i told him i was at work and will be home at 2, he asked "can i leave it somewhere?" i said "yes, in my shed in the back garden, it is open". He said "OK, no problem". I got home around 2 and found he hadn't delivered it. I waited until around 5, when i know they stop delivering. I went online to track the parcel, which said it had tried to be delivered at 11am on friday but nobody was home, so they returned it back to the depot. Not only did he ignore my instructions, (which he said they can do) but he didnt even leave a card to inform me! I complained to City Link with a snotty email, they sent me an automated response to say it will be dealt with. I waited until the Monday and still didnt get a response from them. When i clicked on the email link to view my case, there was nothing there, as if they had deleted it! The seller then emailed me saying City Link informed them of 3 failed deliveries, and if i want it redelivered, i have to pay ANOTHER delivery charge of £6!!! Absolute con artists! It still frustrates me why companies like this, deliver when most people are at work, don't deliver on weekends or after 5pm and waste so much time, money and fuel trying to deliver something at stupid times! if they asked me in the beginning a date and time to deliver, there wouldn't be this whole mess and scathing review!
I have been waiting for a laptop that was due to be delivered yesterday at my work address. After it failed to arrive before 5.30pm (which is when they say you should wait till) I called up, to be told that the driver was running behind on deliveries, but they couldn't get through to the depot to confirm. I was told to wait till 7.30pm...Nothing came, so I called again, only to be told the same thing an to wait until 8pm. It got to 8pm, I called and was told it wasn't going to arrive. Fine. Not great, but ok. So, I receive a text in the morning from Amazon saying the driver failed to make the deliver. I call up for the fourth time, and this time I was told by someone called Shaun (sp?) that it hadn't been delivered because the address couldn't be read. He then says that I can pick up from the depot from 8am that day, which is a bit out of the way for me, but at least I will finally get my laptop. So, half hour walk to the depot, I am told that my parcel is out in a van. By this point, I am very angry, and insist that I get my parcel today, to which the member of staff reacts by arranging for the van to redeliver. So, I head back and wait....no van shows up. I check online and it says that the courier had tried to deliver, but no one was there to receive - an office, full of people, with doorbells to which anyone would have answered, and even with staff outside, and they failed. By this point I lost my rag, and called up only to be told that this attempt had been the first attempt (as it turns out!) and that it wouldn't be delivered today now because the driver has a tight schedule.
To summarise: I have been fobbed off, had my time and energy wasted and as an outcome, because my boyfriend is a barrister, will be taking legal action due to loss of income from not having a machine to work on. I am so annoyed at how I have been treated, that I will be very persistent in getting some form of compensation for this bad service.
I would recommend that City Link invest in improving their internal communications, so that members of staff aren't left lying to customers.
Well I've had several wasted days where City Link have failed to deliver (one time they even left a card in my mailbox without ringing the bell, and I was in!!)
Anyway, today's rant is that I was just cut up on the road by one of their vans. I was clearly not going fast enough for the City Link driver as he tailgated me (despite Baby on Board sign in back) before finally switching lanes and then abruptly cutting in front of me. We were in a 30mph residential area. In case the company does read these reviews, ive made a note of the VRM - YA11TPY. This is the kind of "white van man" that this company employs...it's no wonder the rest of their work is unprofessional.
Funny how people ONLY write a review if they have a bad experience???!!!!
I have received my parcel next day even though I did not pay for it as next day. I am always buying things over the Internet (well pretty much everything I need..lol) and other companies have not been as quick and professional as city link .... so basically I always receive my parcel before the day I am expecting!!! I think it's not only about the company, the driver (which I know him as he's always dropping a parcel over lol) has a big responsibility too, he's so professional and so helpful that I felt like I had to give a good word. So now its up to you on where to send/receive your parcel, personally I am very happy with their service. Well done.

Where to even begin with this one. So, ordered a near 900 tv from amazon to replace one that broke. Paid for guaranteed next day before 1pm delivery.
Waited And waited - gone 1pm no delivery. Went online and says its the other side of the uk from where I am !! Call them up 'oh it's amazons fault it hasn't left there warehouse' !!
Call amazon and they say no it's been scanned in at city links depot for delivery !! Promised faithfully it would be delivered the next day - so I spend another unpaid day at home .... Surprise surprise NO tv!!!! What a shocker city link !!
They of course blame amazon again and promise me faithfully it will be delivered the next day .., oh really city link .. Really !!
Of course I cancelled my order and ups will deliver my new tv through a different company.
City link you are a cunch of bunts !!! May your company go into administration as soon as humanly possible.
Two order delivery experiences with this company and I cannot understand how they are in business or how Amazon selected them as a courier. With the first order they attempted delivery twice but did not leave a card so of course nobody was there. By chance, we tracked the overdue item and rearranged delivery with them. On the agreed day, we waited around the whole day only to discover they returned it to Amazon! So we tried again with a second order and paid extra for a Saturday delivery. After waiting all morning to be told they tried to deliver and there was nobody there. Absolute liars! Avoid them if you have any choice at all, and we will be buying elsewhere until Amazon get another partner.
Waited in all day for a delivery from Amazon via Citylink. Paid for a next day delivery service.Tracked my order online. Your item is en route it said. 14.30 I see that my answer machine has a message. CItylink driver at 08.00 at the sales office (am in a new build area but plenty of houses built) stating that he tried to deliver the item but couldnt find me...asked a couple of builders (they didnt know) and that was it. So of course when I rang him he had finished for the day. Ring the main office, he says helpfully. I do and they are closed. So I presume they will attempt delivery again on Monday when I'm at work all day!!! Great service. Attempted delivery sort off and gave up. I'm literally yards away from the sales office.....blimey I do despair.
Just like the person below I was also expecting a mattress from Amazon today. Just like the person below I didn't receive it. Of course no card had been left and it was only through the online tracking that I saw the driver had claimed attempted delivery at 16:50. On a Friday? Of course he did! It's a shame he didn't bother to leave the card to prove it, just as he didn't on the previous two times I've waited on large packages from City Link. And once again I have to drive to the depot 10 miles away and hope that I can somehow fit the box in my 2 seater car.
While I'm here I may as well mention the last time I had to deal with this company. They failed to deliver a telescope- same story, the driver claimed attempted delivery but no card was left. I went to the depot, was kept waiting over an hour before being told they couldn't find the box and I'd have to come back the next evening or it would just be returned to the sender. Again I was kept waiting over an hour before they found it despite being told the night before that someone would put it to one side so I wouldn't have quite so much of another evening wasted.
In short CityLink deserve to go out of business. The sooner the better.
My heart sank when I saw that City Link would be delivering my mattress from Amazon. I arranged for my brother to be at my house as I would be at work. I checked the status of the parcel on their tracking page throughout the day hoping to see "Delivered". I text my brother asking whether they had been and he said he hasn't heard the door bell or any knock.
About half an hour later I checked the site and got the dreaded "We've left a card message". I text my brother again saying he'd missed them and he replied telling me he hadn't heard anything again.
I got home and saw that no card had been left. WTF. It's almost as though the van driver pulled up outside the house and saw no cars parked and couldn't be arsed to get out and check, let alone get out and leave a card. I immediately rang CityLink to complain and the person on the phone was very apologetic - I can only imagine she's had a lot of practice. She arranged for the parcel to be redelivered today and took my phone number for the driver. We will see whether they try to deliver today.
Usually I would let this sort of thing go as a one off and I'm not the sort of person to write reviews. But this is not my first dealing with City Link. At my previous house they "left a card" came back the next day and "left a card". Of course there were no cards, and my housemate was in both days.
That's not all. My old housemate had ordered some new computer bits and had the pleasure of City Link delivering them. He was in all day waiting and finally checked the website to see the package had been delivered. There was no package or card so he rang City Link to see what was going on. They then rang the driver who told them he had left the package on the front and signed for it himself. This was £500 of computer bits! This would be unacceptable even in the most rural of areas, but we lived in the city on a busy road with a lot of people walking by. It's amazing no one took it.
What on earth is the drivers' problem? Do they really just drive by houses ticking off the "left a card" box? As I said, I'm not the sort of person to write a review but these guys deserve as many bad reviews as possible in the hopes that they will either shape up, or stop operating altogether. Amazon should certainly not include them in their courier pool.
After one week I find 3 attempts to deliver have failed and Citylink say they have left a card (no card ever left) I find that although I tried to follow on there Website the consigment link was broken and only after one week did I find out the consignment number had to be a manual input. At this point I could see the missed delivery days and time. Only one day was nobody here to accept? I can now see the item is out for delivery so I wait all day and watch. I now find out that my delivery as returned to depot without an attempt to delever. I speak to Citylink who promise to deleiver Sataurday morning. OK so I re-arrange my appointment for Saturady AM only to discover that the depot (Ashford) have not sent it out because the Saturday people were not told?
I telephone Citylink again to be told it will now be Monday, I ask, in light of there error, for a pre-12noon delivery. Oh no, not possible, because it is my fault for 3 previous missed deliveries. The drivers did not try very hard and did not on any occassion leave a calling card in the letterbox. (very large bolted under the house name sign, difficult to miss.
Since the reorganisation about 2 years ago Citylink have failed my on more than one occassion including ruining two Christmas. This use to be a great courier.
Now I will not deal with any supplier who use Citylink. However, on this occassion I did not know that cItylink were the courier. I will not be ordering again from them unless there can send via another courier.
If a senior person in Citylink wishes to contact me the consignment number is EUH60689
I have never had service like this every time i end up with City-link delivering a parcel something goes wrong.
Paid for next day delivery from Wiggle and tracking says Thursday 9th May 7.30am - 5.30pm fair enough.
10 Hours waiting for this guy to show with the goods I need to make my business work.
No show !!!
I check the tracking around 7.30pm and suddenly it says the driver tried to deliver, REALLY mate. 7.30pm I couldn't even get the card an get the down the depot quick enough. In the end, I confirmed I would collect from the Birmingham Depot the following morning.
10th May (Today) like an hour ago, I go down the Birmingham Depot about 9.30am to collect the parcel in my time, my diesel, but first I have to get the card the driver left at my office but hey ho its an invisible card he must have left because there was nothing from city link whatsoever.
Anyway on reception there has once again been a mistake as the driver never took the parcel off the van ready for collection, now I'm getting quite angry and the receptionist rings the driver called "Fred" and asks when and where he might be and what time. No apology nothing, oh and he wont be able to get around to deliver till gone 5.30 ish his words were, Mate I'm 2 miles from the depot. How F******N hard can it be !!!
Now he has to drop it off at the local convenience store which are open till 11pm due myself being out the office from 1pm. This is the other reason apart from making my business work I needed it yesterday!
City-link your an absolute joke, and this "Fred" who I heard the receptionist call him wants sacking if he cant deliver a parcel from the Birmingham depot within a 2 mile radius. Don't fill your van up so much an you might be-able to deliver all items on the truck within your 10hr window.
So my review is to stay well away from citylink if you want them to deliver something and if a company like WIGGLE is using them i would ring them an ask for it to be sent via a different courier.
Absolute Useless and i would love for them to contact me !!
I sent a large parcel weighing 16kg through a courier service on line. City link collected my parcel on 29th April 2013 and I paid for next day delivery. Its now 10th May and City Link have told me that the driver has said he was never at my house. It is on their system that the parcel was collected. My 30 year old daughter was with me at the front door when the parcel was collected. I had a conversation with the driver regarding City Link and can describe the driver. Apparently they state it was collected but the driver states he was never at my house. The parcel never got to the depot!!! I rang city Link again yesterday and the lady I spoke to repeated the same thing to me "The driver never called at your address", I replied "he is lying through his teeth", she responded "what makes you think that"? ................aaagggghhhhh!!!!!!! aaaaaggghhhh!!!!!!! :(

Just bought some replacements parts for an aircon on eBay and asked the seller a next day delivery to make sure they wouldnt get damaged on the depot (14KG Compressor and PCB card) They failed to colect on friday, so next colection would be on Tuesday because of the bank Holliday. Waited in Yesterday nothing. Today by 12 I contacted the seller. Package was showing as yet to be colected. The seller called them and they gave him a different consignment number in which the package shows up as delivered and signed with my last number at 13:45. I got contacted the folowing day after spending over 45min on an overpriced phone line. In the end package was delivered to one of the neighbours that comes home like once in a week and signed in my name, no card left and nothing indicating this. Why would you deliver to a neghbour when I was waiting home add day? Was it quicker? You might as well leave it on the street for someone to colect!?
After doing a little search to see if this problem was common, I can only say I am shocked by the ammount of negative reviews on this company!
Thanks Xity-link
They really are the worst bunch you could come across. I waited day after day for a delivery, every time they said the driver had been, no-one in, so card pushed through!! I was in every day, and no card. I pointed out to them that meant the driver was going to the wrong house, they suggested I drive the 30 miles tom their depot to pick it up myself!! Declined their kind offer and they promised to sort it, still next day "driver called, no-one in, card left"! They then promised faithfully to send it the next day. When it didn't arrive I phoned them and they said the parcel was on the van, but the driver had gone home for the day!!!! Finally got it 1 week after the next day delivery day. Avoid them at all costs!
have competitive prices but with poor service collection. I think the drivers are the major responsible. they sometimes turn backwards so to provoke girls who are walking on the sidewalks. I had booked a collection with city link for the day 05/01/2013 in the beginning everything was fine. I spent all day waiting for the collection that did not happen or give me explanation. I ended up asking for a refund and booked into another company (hermes) who ended up doing the same
Stated they had tried yo deliver on a day when my other half was in and can hand on heart swear that no one knocked at our door, we also had no delivery card posted through our door! When i rang the company i felt like i was seen as a liar because the driver had apparently taken a photo of the house?! So because he takes a photo it means he must have knocked at the door?!!
As a previous reviewer of this company has concluded i believe the driver wanted to get his round done as quick as possible and yes he may have taken a photo of my house but then i believe he got back into his van and drive away without even attempting to knock at our door.
Will not go anywhere near this company again!
Waited in all day for a delivery. Didn't turn up. Check my tracking and it was delivered at lunchtime. Except I was in all day and it had not.
They left no note in my door either saying they had been.
After much ringing around they had a picture to show me where it was placed round the back garden. It wasn't my house.
Then they said he placed it there but then the owner turned up and signed for it.
But they didn't have an address just a GPS so I went round there and knocked on all the houses - nobody had the parcel or heard of this person they said it was with.
Then, they found an address, so I went round there and it wasn't there and she wasn't called what they said she was called.
Additionally this parcel was classed as 'only to be delivered to the house specified'
Essentially I get the feeling:
1. It was lunchtime, the driver was finishing so couldn't be bothered to drop it off to my house so left it near his last drop-off (hence why I saw nobody nor had a card) and scarpered. Either that or it was Friday with a bank holiday coming up.
2. city link have absolutely no ability to log where a parcel is.
They also refuse to find my parcel until four days time.
Brilliant service.
Waited in for delivery left door open and made sure I was very close to front of the house. Card left saying attempted delivery. Checked CCTV and driver only waited 20 second and legged it. This happens with City Link but not fed-ex
Sent a parcel via this company through p4d. The pick up time was great and everything looked like it went well. Until the parcel was received by my friend. They say they use 'machines' so make sure you parcel is strong and secure which I did. The box had a big rip in and most of the items I sent which were secure were smashed to pieces! Also I wasn't impressed with the tracking service which suggested my parcel had been sat in a van for hours. Not really what I'd expect from £10+ secure postage!
Finally got my money back because of p4d but this took 2 months because the wouldn't reply to emails or send forms back!
The only thing that was good was the time it took to deliver the item... but when it's been smashed to pieces that's not much to rave about
iF YOU VALUE YOUR ITEM YOU ARE SENDING DO NOT USE THIS COMAPANY ,
THEY WRECKED THE ITEM I ARRANGED FOR THEM TO COLLECT .
ON THE FIRST ATTEMPT TO COLLECT THEY SAID THE ITEM WAS NOT THERE TO COLLECT , IT WAS IT HAD BEEN IN THE RECEPTION ALL DAY .
IF YOU BOOK THROUGH PARCEL2GO DO NOT CHOOSE CITY LINK TO DELIVER OR COLLECT
They tried to steal my laptop. Another package got "lost" in transit and the driver keeps failing to deliver with out numerous phone calls to the depot. They are a joke and need to be shut down.
I had a food parcel due on the 22nd, the driver didn't turn up. His excuse was he ran out of time to deliver. Excuse me but isn't your job to deliver ON TIME.
So the order was carried through to today (23rd) and yet again no driver turns up, this time his excuse being his electrical equipment didn't work.
Absolutely disgraceful, avoid at all costs.

Basically every experience I have had with them results in disappointment. I am now planning to enquire delivery arrangements from the vendor before I purchase anything and if they say "City LInk" I will not buy from them.
Unhelpful staff. No one tries to sort out problems when they arise. They won't give specific times on when they'll deliver, they'll be as specific as "between 7:30am and 5pm" and still don't turn up anyway!
If you know what courier the retailer is using and it's City-link, steer well clear!
Apparently they turned up at the entrance to my block of flats twice, were bemused by the complex 'buzzer' system and left. Not leaving sign they'd been there 'for my safety' of course, they then refused to come again and insisted I either came to their depot or got the sender to authorise them to turn up and look at my front door again. They honestly couldn't seem the care less, they have no intention of delivering my parcel unless I literally wait at my front door for them every minute of every day.
City Link are incompetent and have appalling customer service. We have had TWO terrible experiences with our companies stock going missing with this carrier and all they do is feed you a load of rubbish about where they think it is, which of course, totally conflicts with where the computer tracking system says it is!
In short they are useless and they will end up costing you money . Had I read the 500 negative reviews on here I would have avoided them at all cost. You should too!
Waited in all day yesterday between 07:30 and 19:00 despite numerous phone calls to them City Link did not turn up.They promised to delver to-day between 13:00 and 15;00 and once again they did not turn up.This is not the first time that they have not made the promised delivery. DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU WANT YOUR DELIVERY ON TIME.
Arranged to have a box collected from my house today, waited all day and they never came to collect. Calling City Link after 6 pm I am advised that they had attempted collection about an hour earlier.
Three people were at the house and City Link had our contact number too. They just did not bother to turn up.
Unbelievable !!!
Joke of a company. I brought a very hard to find movie projector off ebay that cost just short of £1000. Brand new this item would have cost £10000!
It was scanned in at the collection depo and thats as far as it got. Never received it, and currently they are looking for it!!! The box is a metre long and half a metre wide and high and weighs 25Kg and covered in fragile stickers ...... How the hell does something like that go missing????
I am currently fuming and waiting for answers. If not found in the next couple of days i will be demanding a criminal investigation because something that big just doesn't go missing. Unfortunately I never chose the courier and would't have chose City Link as I have had trouble with them before now!
NOT HAPPY, WORST COMPANY EVER.....
Are you serious? City-Link has to be THE most horrible, terrible company ever. First they lie to me about when the supposed Mail man arrives. Secondly they say "Oh sorry I'll do that for Monday" and guess what? Nothing came on Monday, it hadn't even been shipped. "Oh sorry it couldn't be put through on Monday, let me do that on the Tuesday that it expires and lie about it being lost so that we can feed ourselves because we're clearly not getting enough money in this god-awful place" Honestly, I call today and I find out that it's been "lost". Really? Sounds to me like one of the lazy ass workers decided he wanted the parts to my PC. Oh, unless they all work together and have a massive room of all the shit they've stolen off of all of their customers. Who knows.
Anyway, you can be assured that I will never be using this company ever again, I'll actually pay up to £40 higher just to get off from using what they call a company.
Fast, Well packaged, Came in time (:

bought an item off ebay. seller gave instructions to courier to leave item at rear of house and accept signature left on door ( city link cards clearly state parcels can only be left without signature unless instructed by seller). no parcel left , only card stating will try to redeliver the next working day.. this was on a friday. i rang number on card and told them I would collect from their depot myself on monday. girl on phone stressed the fact that the item was now on computer for collection at depot.. on monday I drove twenty five miles to the depot only to be told that my parcel had been sent back for redelivery . cue victor meldrew expletives. guy at desk said he would ring driver to tell him to leave item at my address. whilst I was on my way back the driver had allready tried to redeliver and had left a card saying I had to collect now after two failed delliveries. he must have later been phoned to tell him to go back to my address because the item was there when I got back. this was the third time that i have gone to collect a parcel that had been resent after confirming a collection time at depot..VICTOR MELDREW WAS FUNNY. CITY LI NK YOU ARE FAR FROM FUNNY. FIFTY MILE ROUND TRIP. COST OF FUEL AND MORNINGS WORK LOST.TOTALLY INCOMPETENT
Ordered a buggy off amazon.. (Next day delivery) yeah right!!! I ended up going to city link @ nuts corner myself to collect it!! I've never came across so many unhelpful people in my life.. Amazon where very helpful, but once I contacted city link myself that was a different story, got through to a guy who told me 3 times to hold on a minute so he could talk to someone beside him.. Was on the phone 20 minutes still no answers?? Told the guy he was useless and asked him why he's even employed there if he wasn't going to do his job?? So long story short he told me if it wasnt with me the following day it wouldn't be with me until the next week.. Almost 2 weeks after it should've been with me!! Spoke to 4 different people each one as useless as the next.. After wasting my time I demanded they give me a contact number so I could pick it up myself.. Once I collected it I told them I will never EVER use city link again.. Their own employee agreed!!! So unhappy with how it was dealt with!!! I think this company need to go back to basics and remember something called CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
I usually use TNT to ship large items (over 1m), but they really don't take a lot of care. City Link were the only other company that would affordably ship a larger item, but their reviews were bad. My other half said that's because nobody reviews them when they do well, so I thought I would.
No damage to the packaging (frequent TNT problem), delivered on time, collection was no problem either. Would definitely use again for shipping oversized parcels.

Delivered my parcel to the wrong place, had it signed by someone in the wrong name who promptly stole it and I never got to see it again. No customer service available at all. This company is literally the worst. Never never use them.
