I left it a bit late to find the Secret Santa gift and although I found the perfect one on the website it was highly likely going to be too late in arriving on time going by the company's delivery date estimate. It actually arrived Before the earliest estimate and the gift was very well received by the recipient. One very happy , and relieved , customer.
I bought some chelsea FC Slippers for my boyfriend, this company is from the UK and I am from Guatemala, Central America. They told me since it was world wide it could take up to 4 weeks. Since It was my first time ordering from the UK I asked a lot of questions and customer service always answered me kindly providing helpful information.
4 weeks after it was shipped on the dot it arrived at my home and my boyfriend was thrilled! Will buy with them again and recomend it for others :D
I've been using FMAG for the best part of a decade for 'extra' birthday and Christmas gifts for family members and always found the service to be excellent. By way of a recent example, in late Nov 2012 I bought a book rest lamp for my daughter as a Christmas stocking-filler which, as always, arrived promptly with a few other things. Everything appeared fine, so naturally I wrapped it up pretty sharpish for Christmas Day. But it wasn't until nearly a week after Christmas that she got around to unpacking the box, only to find that the glass shade had shattered in transit. We were now a month over the FMAG stated policy returns date for faulty goods but I contacted them by e-mail and explained the situation and they put a replacement lamp in the post to me without any hesitation within 48 hours. I just don't think service gets any better than that and I would recommend FMAG to anyone without hesitation.
After choosing my gifts from the easy-to-use wedbsite, delivery was super-fast. Unfortunately, one of the items was damaged during transit but a quick e-mail sorted this out and resulted in an almost quicker-than-possible replacement being received. I will definitely use Find-Me-a-Gift again in the future and cannot fault their customer service team who were absolutely spot on and always professional. A definite favourite for me!
My order (addict a ball) came within days, unfortunately there was a loose part inside so I had to return it. I e-mailed & had a prompt reply with details how to return the item. I had a choice of return or replace so I opted to have a replacement.. I then realised that the time to send the item back & then wait for a replacement would be very near Christmas so I ordered another ball. Then I emailed to explain that I had changed my mind & now wanted a refund for the first item. This email was answered the next day & they said my account would be amended as I requested.
I was really impressed with the service I received. I have used them before & have never had any problems.
I ordered last week and haven't received a single email to confirm or update me on my order, although my order shows up on my account on findmeagift.co.uk. It still says processing on my account but should have shipped by now.
I ordered from them last year twice with no problems and really fast delivery. This year is a joke. I am very worried, and can't get hold of them.
After recieving an email with a 20% discount voucher I went on to the site to order some things. Being in a rush I went through and added a load of things to my basket, when I got to the checkout I saw that my 20% discount had not been applied, I continued anyway thinking it would be applied pro rata. The next morning I had been billed (via paypal) for the whole amount so I rang find me a gift and they said it was a technical error and they would refund the difference to which I said "Ok, else please cancel the order and refund my money" (this was around 12 hours after the initial order. I waited a day or so and still no refund so by now I was getting a bit worried so I emailed them and waited a day for a reply saying "Our discount codes do not apply to already dicounted items - this was included in the small print of the code" - Ok so I go back and look on the site and every single item has already had one form or another of dicount applied to it. By now I felt very let down by the company and just wanted a refund so I rang them up to simply cancel the order and get a refund to which I was told "It's to late to cancel now as it's gone to the depot for delivery and we CANNOT contact the devlivery depot and cancel it there". I proceeded to ring the delivery company (hermes in this case) and they told me it was a blatent LIE from find me a gift and they do in fact have the power to cancel any order they like before leaving the depot. I then got on to paypal and raised the issue with them and they cannot get fully involved until 25th December (which find me a gift are fully aware of) and today I have an email from find me a gift saying they will refund me within 28 days of recieving their goods back (which I refused to sign for at my door and thus went back to their depot yesterday {7th Decmeber}).
I cannot itterate how BAD this company is and how much I will be spreading my annoyance of how I have been treated and the dirty low tactics they use to get people onto their website. You should avoid this website at all costs and tell everyone you know to do the same to save potentialy going through the annoyance and financial losses that I have.
I first came across this site when I was looking for a Secret Santa Gift for a works colleague - some really funny stuff on there. The gift arrived very quickly and since then the wife has been on and I think she's ordered most of our Christmas stuff for this year!
I ordered two items over two weeks ago and I still haven't recieved them. I was emailed the day after ordering saying that they have been dispatched and to allow 2-5 working days. I then emailed them after the fifth day asking where my order is and I have not even had a reply to that! Even though they claim to get to you in 8 hours of the email.
This company is pathetic! Buy elsewhere- there are better, more reliable places!

I bought a personalised bracelet for my wife and she loved it, its so special. After I ordered it, I wanted to change the message so I called them and they sorted it and called me back to confirm it had been done, amazing, other companies I have dealt with never call back when they say they will. Brilliant kepp up the good work and thank you.
Back in April I bought a Slushiemaker for my boyfriends birthday at the end of May. We used this between 6 and 10 times and unfortunately it broke :-(
I emailed the problem at the beginning of August, but I was worried that due to the length of time since I purchased the machine there would be a problem fixing it.
I couldn't have been more wrong. Within a week Find Me A Gift sent out a courier to pick up the broken machine, and at the same time they replaced it with a brand new one.
I am the first person to complain about bad customer service so I am more than happy to say I will definately be using Find Me A Gift again and I will recommend to anyone!!

I wanted a personalised Manchester City Football Club Newspaper book for a friend's 60th birthday in 12 days time. No promises were made by customer service to meet the deadline, yet someone managed to get the book printed with my friend's name on the cover and a personal message through my door within 24 hrs of placing the order. Not only that, the book was considerably cheaper through Find me a Gift than through its competitiors. I would not hesitate to recommend them based on this experience.
So at the last minute, as you do, I ordered an engraved glass for a birthday present, complete with presentation box. The Find-Me-A-Gift site was easy to navigate and to order the wording I wanted, so I went with them. The item arrived ultra-fast. Job done? Not quite: the presentation box was not up to scratch. In fact it was scratched and discoloured. I mentioned this to FMAG's customer service team (remember, they don't actually make this stuff) who apologised profusely and offered a replacement or a refund. So I'm a happy chap and impressed with the firm.

I bought Loc8tor from this company, unfortunately the item went missing during delivery. I rang them up, they confirmed the details with the courier and then sent replacement item. They kept me informed when they were making inquiries with the courier. Excellent.
Ordered a pair of glasses for a gift (It was a last minute decision to order them!) They arrived within a few days of ordering- quicker than expected. Beautiful crystal glasses and lovely engraving, however,the message that was engraved on the glass was not quite what I had ordered- I phoned them up and they immediately offered to send another pair of glasses with the correct engraving or a full refund. Unfortunately I needed the gift for 2 days time and so I had to opt for the refund. Fantastic customer service and will most certainly buy from them again!
I ordered a baby giraffe for a friends new baby and it arrived next day as promised. I've ordered from them many times and have on occasion had to return something and have never had an issue with delivery or customer service. Would highly recommend.
I ordered a silver star with an engraved message. It arrived within a couple of days and is just what I wanted. Excellent communication with the company, good value and brilliant service.

Købte en lampe, som viste sig at være beskadiget - lignede faktisk en brugt! Mailede dem fotos, som de dog først tog stilling til efter flere rykkere. Da det ville koste mig ca halvdelen af lampens pris (550,-) at returnere den, bad jeg om et nedslag i prisen - fik 5 pund!! Latterligt nedslag, som jeg dog tog imod, da det ville koste over 200,- kr at sende lampen retur. Men jeg handler ALDRIG med dem igen og vil ikke anbefale andre at gøre det!
Do not buy items as like me you will be disappointed, i bought bracelets for my bridesmaids but i was horrified upon opening my package. The items literally look like they are straight from a christmas cracker and they weren't cheap. Customer service refuse to deal with my complaint..... as well as looking cheap there are several marks/blemishes on the heart attached to the bracelet.

Was quite disappointed how long it too for my order to come and when it did it was all the brilliance the description said
As another reviewer pointed out, the delivery service is nothing short of a joke.
Ordered from this company on a Tuesday as they did next day delivery for which I paid a premium. Needed the gift on a Thursday as a Secret Santa present, called 4pm on Thursday to be told the delivery could come anywhere between 8am-8pm (really?!). So, by Friday (and Secret Santa postponed for whole office) it still hadnt arrived, called the customer service and was told that the courier service had a 2 day backlog, at which point I told them not to bother delivering it, which I was told could be done.
Now here I sit on Monday morning with the delivered package and more effort for me to send it back even though I was told it would be cancelled.
Unfortunatelty for FMAG, they have clearly contracted a courier company who are unable to meet their only reason for being! It doesnt matter if its Xmas, this should only affect public company such as Royal Mail and not privately paid for Couriers.
1/10 for effort.

I have no issue with the availability of products, price and customer service staff at find -me-a-gift.co.uk - I specifically went with this company over others as they had a guaranteed next day delivery service.
My order was due to arrive on Thursday - no show. I was reassured it would definitely be with me on Friday .. you guessed it... no show. I absolutely needed my order for today but as their courier company Hermes has subcontracted to a company non contactable on the weekend, I'm not holding my breath and imagine I will need to resort to a refund on Monday. This may be a one off, but quite frankly there is too much competition out there to even bother taking the risk again so unless find-me-a-gift ditch their current delivery service and go with one that is reliable, I definitely won't be using them again.

I ordered quiet alot of stuff this year again from find me a gift as last years service was great
all the mugs arrived well packed as well as many other items all wrapped up in so much bubble wrap
my only question is how do we recycle so much bubble wrap

I have had big treks bath lights various elec goods and all working a year later hence why I am a repeat customer
I have had a couple of issues with the layout of the website but also the descriptions they give to things - some of which are tantamount to false advertising. They have partially fixed the problem, but are still describing something as having an 80% price reduction when it doesn't.
I also have an issue regarding a personalised bauble where the bauble in the picture says "Phillip's first Christmas", and they ask you to enter personalisation in a box (with e.g. John's written next to it). I entered my son's name in the box (which only allows 12 characters), and it has now arrived without the "first Christmas" bit. There isn't even room in the box to include that.
Really appalling company - does not deserve custom, and if you are brave / foolish enough to buy from them then double check everything when it arrives.

Bought a paint-your-own personalised mug and the paint started peeling off when it was washed. Also, the chocolate calculator went bust after about 6 months.

Ordered and paid for a Christmas gift in November as it said it was in stock. Told it was not in stock but would arrive by 6th Dec. It did not. Was told it would arrive before Christmas, would be sent special delivery. It did not. Asked for a refund after Christmas. Was told it would be credited to my card. It was not. Finally after many phone calls, broken promises it was refunded in March. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. Use at your own peril.

I bought 3 products that were the cheapest I could find anywhere and I had to return 1 becasue I no longer wanted it and they refunded me really quickly without any quibbles.
I ordered a chocolate thorntons advent calender and recieved a chocolate santa clause. Which was obviously the wrong item. I called them straight away and was given a full refund and got to keep the santa. I didn't get my calender though :(
Really impressed with www.find-me-a-gift.co.uk - pretty much got all my Christmas shopping done on there and it's all arrived really quickly. My mum and girlfriend are still stressing about Christmas so I'm well pleased I've got mine out the way - and they're decent presents at decent prices too.
The website itself is really easy to use. The presents are set out into categories like Christmas gifts, stocking fillers, mens gifts, womens gifts - even gift ideas for secret santa so I've even been able to sort presents for tricky people at work that I was dreading having to buy for.
I'd definitely be happy recommending www.find-me-a-gift.co.uk to mates and family, and will be checking it out again when it comes to buying birthday presents and for things like valentines day because you can personalise presents for extra brownie points and they do gift experiences like spa days which is always a winner with ladies!
Found this website really useful - we went on and started to look for different presents for my dad's birthday. There's so much choice so we used the personal shopper and it gave us lots of different options. I'd typed in that he loves sport and it gave really relevant options too. Saved me a lot of time and I'm sure he'll love the football book we've got him.
