convenient and valued website
I booked four hostels thru this website. the process was simple and fast.
Most hostels were good in value/price. In my next journey, Hostels Website will be my first choice. I would like to introduce it to my friends.

Great place to stay with friendly guests and staff
I stayed at the hostel for a week and extended my stay twice while there. Free breakfast is minimal but appreciated. They have comfortable beds and a good location. Really good place to stay.

great location in the city
Just stayed in a great hostel in Amsterdam, close to the transport networks and city centre. I will stay their again the staff are great loads of information about the the city.

Easy to Use, Helpful Reviews
My girlfriend and I used hostels.com when we were backpacking through Europe. It makes it so easy to find cheap hostels that we were able to stay in over 7 cities across Europe on our very limited budget. The reviews of the hostels are incredibly helpful and the rating system gives you an idea of where you'll be staying before you get there. We also like the integrated google map system because it helped us figure out where we were going more easily, a benefit when visiting a foreign city for the first time.

Reliable and convenient
I always have good experience with Hostels.com. The prices are good, the range of choice is wide. When there was mistake on the website with my booking, they corrected it right away. I am very satisfied with their service and would recommend it to my friends.

excellent stay, pleasantly surprised
I booked a single private room from green hostel krakow. When I got there I was pleasantly surprised that the room was actually my own private apartment. The apartment had everything - shower, seperate toilet, fridge, tv, towels, linen clothes.
only thing missing was the wifi password so remember to ask that! I forgot and well, the timetables didn't match with the restaurants downstairs (who had the password).
They had breakfast on the downstairs restaurant (milk, tea, instant coffee, cereals, bread, cheese, ham) and it was good. nothing to complain, except no juice or water for free.
the location of the hostel and the apartment (they were on different locations from each other) is very good - I walked 12 minutes from the old town to the apartment. Very quiet and extremely private! I loved it and I will stay in there again on my next krakow visit.
I traveled solo and I'm an adventurous 28y male.

Hostels.com was quick and easy!
My friends and I were sitting in a coffee shop trying to decide on which hostel to stay at. We went on hostels.com, and it was quick and easy to find the best match for us, and book it. We were there within an hour of the booking, and everything was worked out already. Great experience.

I always had good experiences, found the location with the helpful maps and got some cheaper deals than arriving at the door step.

The Seaside Hawaiian Hostel was clean, safe, and community oriented.
This hostel was so awesome. I had a key to the gated in courtyard and another key to my room. Everyone was in to being part of the community, but it was also totally cool if you just did your own thing. Many times I went out with someone I had just met at this hostel, whether it was at night for dancing or for a hike during the day. I never worried about my stuff being stolen and I felt safe and comfortable with everyone I spent time with. Even when I stayed in a room with all boys, it was still very clean. Everyone respected the rules of this hostel, which is important. I like to party too, but I also like quiet time when I need it, so it was great to come back after a crazy night and go to sleep in my peaceful hostel. All the staff was really nice too, especially Josh at the front desk. Even if he was making a meal for himself he would drop everything for you.

First we had reservation for Smart Place hotel but we were forwarded to Avalon hotel just next to it, also very nice place.
We were glad to be guests in Avalon hotel in Paris. Everything was perfect and we had very good vacation in Paris. I will recommend hotel for tourists who want to see Paris in few days. Hotel is situated in strategic position for travelers near Gare du Nord.
The only disadvantage is that boulevard is a little bit noisy during the days, but it doesn't matter because during daylight tourists occasionally do not stay at the hotel.

The standard place to find hostel accommodation.
They do take a commission, but some hostels either don't have a web site or make it difficult to find out to contact them. There are several hostel booking sites, but this one seems to have become the defacto standard, at least in the U.S.
The reviews you find at hostels.com are far more useful than those at tripadvisor.com, which frankly seems to have an awful lot of angry rants by professional complainers.

I trust hostels.com and the hostels they have on their website.
I was able to book hostels that were even nicer than I expected. They met all my requirements for my trip. They were clean, safe and in good locations, the staff were friendly and helpful. I would use this site again to look for hostels.

Hostels.com works good and is cheaper than each hostel's website
Everything was good with hostels.com services.
I booked 9 nights in bulgarian hostels with hostels.com and all reservations were okay at my arrivals. Often, the prices on hostels.com were cheaper than single hostel's website, for the same accommodation and bed.
I will use it again in the future.

I don't even remember how I found hostels.com, but this is the site to go to for booking anything international. I love that you can sort by price, ratings, location, etc. Reading other reviews really lets you know what to expect at certain locations.

Great site with good information, reviews, and accurate, cost-effective reservation service
I have booked hostels in China many times in the past year on hostel.com and have found them to be cost-effective, timely, and accurate. It didn't matter whether I made the reservation a day before or weeks in advance of my arrival, the hostel always knew I was coming and was a great stay. The variety of hostels available is also quite diverse, making it possible to find a quiet hostel or a rockin' hostel. I have found the reviews to be especially helpful in deciding between hostels. It is especially good that the hostels.com partners with hostelworld.com to share reviews for hostels that have few if any reviews.

Great website with great reviews of actual people who stayed at the hostels
The website is great, you can just select a place and it will present you with a whole bunch of hostels in the area, with reviews, pictures and ratings left by other users who actually stayed at the hostels.
Hostels.com also have great prices, you can reserve your room or bed without worrying about availability, you just check-in when you arrive and all is set.

Capital View, Washington D.C = A very good hostel, worth the money.
The Hostel (Capital View) has quite a homely feel. It's very clean and the bathrooms are really nice.
The beds are also really comfy, which is surprising for a hostel. The bedrooms have key pad locks, so very secure. However, there are lockers in the rooms - but you need to supply your own locks for those. Great location - down the road from Chinatown and not far from several metro stations. Free use of computers, which is handy. All in all, it's a good hostel and I would recommend it.

Best Hotsel with fast booking
I was actually planning on staying 3 days in Lagoa (Florianopolis). I ended up staying 13 days due to the great experience in the EcoBackpackers Panorama Hostel. In the days I stayed I also checked out other Hostels, but not one of them came close to this Hostel which is located slightly above Lagoa with an outstanding panoramic view towards the sand dunes and the village. Furthermore it is a NEW place, has outstanding showers, it is SAFE and the breakfast is GREAT! Only 5 Minutes walk to Lagoa!

Amazing Location!
