The perfect choice
This hostel was recommended by a friend so i made the reservation without even looking at the web page and i have to say i have no regrets or complaints. The place is quiet, clean and cheap, the communication with the rest of the city is perfect (metro just across the street) and the buffet the restaurant next door offers for the people staying at the hostel is very good. I didn't spend much time there during the day so I cannot say anything about the nice time you may have sharing with other people (but the terrace looked great!)

I had a really good time in Zagreb, enjoy every second, it was the best. Hostel was increible, small, but you fill like you are at home. Staff, the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reasonable hostel, good location
It's a decent hostel, close to union square which was good. We didn't really use the recreation facilities much or participate in any of the activities. Overall happy with the stay. The breakfast was pretty average, pancakes are nice but the line made it impractical.

Excelente service With few drawbacks.
Sometimes all hostels available in a area does not appear, not even when searched by name! (They do wxist on HW)I am referring to the area of Cabo Polonio in Uruguay.

Can I stay here forever?
Did not want to leave at all but my travels calls me elsewhere. I know for sure whenever I'm in LA this will be the place I stay. Big nice house, comfortable rooms, great people, friendly staff, light breakfast served. There were so many things that made my stay here very much worth it. The internet was very fast and reliable which was a plus. I went and left as I pleased, just the overall freedom and comfortability is enough to keep me coming back. Kitchen was nice and clean and they even have a free washer and dryer providing you bring your own detergent. Neighborhood was safe I had no problems whatsoever. Just felt like a place I could rest easy without the worry and hassle. Thanks guys. See you soon. I will definitely be back.

MY DREAM CAME TRUE!
I am 50 years old, and I have planned a trip to Peru for several years. I talked to travel agents that were either too busy, or straight out commission. A good friend of mine suggested HOSTELWORLD.COM and that's when the adventure began. Hostelworld.com provided me with an answer to all of my questions regarding my stay. Those reviews that are constantly updated make a world of difference, because I could feel the atmosphere without being there. great hostel when travelling to foz
good hostel, close to cheap rodizio food and bus station to falls. hostel has a nice bar w swimming pool and pool table. no outside alcohol allowed, but they have a reasonable bar. breakfast provided was good, similar to other hostels.

Simple and efficient system to book a hostel online and have a wide range of choices.
I was stuck in Korea without a place to stay and knew I needed to find something fast but how to know what hostels were available in the Seoul area at a good price and without having to spend hours surfing the internet? I ran a search on Google for some kind of service that could give me a listing and Hostelworld came up. I had seen them before on the internet but hadn't had a reason to try them so I decided to try them this time as I was in a bind. I instantly got a good listing of 20 or so hostels available in the Seoul area plus they had a special feature which I really liked. They would have a featured hostel of the week and it was by using that I was able to quickly narrow down a list of hostels and choose the best place for me. I booked it quickly and easily and went to stay at the property. It turned out to be better than I expected and I'm really happy that Hostelworld had that special featured hostel of the week. I'll definitely use Hostelworld again when I travel to other countries and need a hostel. I'm a budget traveler, I always stay in hostels and Hostelworld makes my travel planning much easier and painless.

Couldn't survive on the road without them!
On my "around the world" trip, Hostelworld is who I use more than anyone else. The reviews that the guests leave are honest and straightforward. I have used Hostelworld's options of choosing by rating levels as well as price levels, for when I am on a tighter budget. They also have maps of all the hostels' locations in that city, so you are not surprised as to how close or far you are from the center of town, the attractions or the beach.
My only issues have been with trying to book for just 1 person that they say is $10 per person, but then it is a minimum of 2 guests for the room, therefore the price gets bumped up to $20 for just 1 person. I wish there was a way to fix that problem. I have to go through every bed/ room on the selection of the hotel to see which ones are really for 1 person or not. (For example, are they charging by room or number of guests?) Other than that, a great website. I just signed on today for another year membership!

Exquisitly nice place and conveniently located!
I wasn't sure about staying in a hostel, but this place was clean, well lit with plenty of amenities at your disposal. The breakfast was always a nice start to the day and the locatiion to the transit system was only a short walk. I would highly recommend this hostel to those wanting to spend in Boston without breaking the bank for a comfortable bed.

Trustworthy, affordable, and diversified hostels with extensive reviews and information.
Hostelword is a great platform to find hostels on in any decent sized city. They charge a couple bucks if you're not a member, but pretty much always have the lowest price you'll find (usually exactly what the hostel will charge) so it's generally worth it to make the booking hassle-free. Good comparisons of different hostels on a number of factors so you can judge based on what's important to you. Overall really good service.

Easy to use website, easy to find accommodation
Hostelworld makes it easy to find cheap places to stay wherever you are, and you are safe in the knowledge that the reviews left by people are honest and unbiased and are from real people. I particularly like the user-friendly layout. It's so simple to browse through places ad book somewhere in an instant.
The only disadvantage I would say about hostelworld is that the website does not save your preferences - such as if you're travelling in one country for a while and only want to stay in hostels, the website at the moment doesn't have the ability to remember that and every time you use it you have to select it all.

a helpful and trustful website
In my opinion, one of the weak point that this website does not have all 5 stars from me is: with some hostel, they don't publish the images of the hostel, just some icons or cartoons. it is not reliable enough. Guesses need to see real things from the rooms, facilities or location to the famous sites nearby.

Good working and informative hostel booking site
My rating: 4-5 stars. I use hostelword for almost all my bookings and I've never had any complaints. Only downpoint is the $2 service charges on bookings for travellers (as hostelworld already gets money from the participating hostels).

best bet for your holiday
i am not young backpacker so i need more relaxing environment, so then sirmas house was the ideal place for me.hostel hostel locates in decent and quiet neighborhood. i was so tired when i got to skopje and i could recover my self after 2 days of my stay. i can recommend this hostel for everyone.

I have the best memories about hostel "Godzillas"
"Godzillas", located in center of Moscow - clean, beautifully designed, comfortable hostel with friendly staff. I have the best memories about that place and will recommend it to all my friends who are planning to visit Russia.

An appealing design of the website is hiding a large database of places to sleep in almast every larger town and even in the most remote small villages.
Sofisticated website, easy to navigate on. The only think to improve would be the quality of the pictures of the places to stay at some of the hostels.

Easy and Comfortable!!
We had a very good times, me and my wife, planing our trip to Europe using hostelworld.... Easy to understand and so truthful... We feel comfortable using the website for book a place to relaxe after long walks in Madrid and Lisbon!! Congratulation hostelworld team!!!

Easy to find good accommodation
I searched on the internet for somewhere to stay in Leon, Spain. Looking for good value and central location I was able to find a hostal which turned out to be very good, just what I wanted from Hostelworld.
