Convenience at it's best.

I use just-eat all the time. It is easy to use and navigate. I like the fact that I can look at other peoples' reviews before I decide to order from somewhere.

AWFUL!!

I have been a loyal customer of Just Eat, lately they have done nothing but mess up orders.

Most recent, made an order through them for Papa Johns, 1 hour and 15 minutes later, no food arrived (although my card had been debited and the order accepted) Papa Johns have no record of my order.

Spoke to Just-Eat, the "accepted" reference just means they are going to call Papa Johns and place the order, which they didnt, claiming not to be able to get hold of them (I got hold of them straight away) Then had bear face cheek to ask to wait for another hour whilst they put the order through.

My advice? Just order direct from the shop, Just-Eat seem to be hiring people who have no idea what they are doing anymore....

Just Eat just takes your money!

Having been a loyal customer of Just Eat for quite a few years, I'm more than dissappointed with the service I received recently.

Last Sunday, my order arrived missing 3 items. I contacted the restaurant and they said they would bring the items straight away. They did not. I contacted Just Eat the next day and they said the restaurant wanted me to ring them and they would sort it. I rang 3 times and just kept getting fobbed off that the manager wasn't there. I contacted Just Eat again and they assrured me the manger would ring me immediately. He didn't. I contacted Just Eat again on live chat last night and now the restaurant says they delivered everything and there will be no refund. Seriously, if that was the case, why would it take them 3 days to say it?

I would say, don't touch this company with a bargpole. I for one, will NEVER use them again. You know what they say, fool me once , shame on you...

Just eat takes money WHATEVER happens

After ordering from a local take away just eat accepted our order.. 1 hour later just eat rings to say the order was rejected - oh but they still took my money ! was promised a £20 online voucher to make up for the issue and my money would be refunded to my card the next day. Still have nothing no refund or food or voucher. Taking it further as we speak..........

Hey Adam!

Sorry your order wasn't completed and that you were informed really late. If an order's rejected a customer shouldn't get charged, the funds are usually only 'ringfenced' and then released by the bank once instructed by us.

I'd like to see what happened and to find out why the offers weren't completed. Would you mind emailing us with an order number and we'll do what we can for you :)

Awful Food!

The food was so covered with salt it was unedible! Completely unedible!
The Just Eat site itself I cannot really fault, apart from allowing me to order from a restaurant that is obviously trying to kill its customers!

Useless, takes no responsiblity for their listing

Ordered food online which was more than the min order amount, only to find out that the food never arrived. The time given was 55 mins for delivery and I was stupid to wait for them for so long with the hope that they will deliver.
Although this is the hotel mistake, what's justeat.in's accountability? They did not do their due diligence basically before putting up the website.
I would NOT recommend this website or any approved restaurants to order your food. Better go with your local restaurants or with authentic restaurants that you know of.

Our first order was refused as we live too far away despite having to put the post code in to get the list of restaurants. After placing another order, food arrived cold half an hour late and have been told I'm to get a refund, dosnt help that i'm still foodless at half ten pm without anything since breakfast and shopping has not been done. Just hope i get my money back

I'm really sorry to hear that your first order was rejected. We have to give restaurants this option as their ability to deliver long distance varies dependent on how busy the restaurant is and then how far away you live. If they are very busy, they might not be able to deliver as far as they could if they were very quiet, which may be why your order was rejected.

With regards to the refund for the other order, if you could email the order number for that order to trustpilot@just-eat.co.uk, I'd be happy to look into that for you :)

Money not refunded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Normally love using just-eat, use it around once a week. However on the 29/4/13 i paced an order which got declined by the restaurant for being busy. The money left my account. I received an email saying the money would be refunded in 2-5 working days. As it was late, I couldn't use the live chat or arrange other food. I spoke to a just-eat employee through live chat 5 working days later, stating it wasnt in my account. The person i spoke to said to try again later, he couldnt get into my information. The next day, I try again and get told it has been refunded and i should contact my bank to find out when it will be available. The bank could see no refund coming through. I've just spoken to another representative, which has told me it can take up to 30 days.
So why was i told 2-5?
There should be some other way to portray that a restaurant is busy to stop customer from trying to ordering in the first place. A terrible inconveniance and unreasonable communication on getting my money back!
I did ask it just gets stuck back on my account credit, but apparently there is no customer service here, they just keep telling me to come back.

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT COULDN'T LIVE WITHOUT MY JUST EAT!!!!

i have used just eat for couple of years now! always found the site to be very simple to use, never been any problems with just eat. Fast service
will stay with just eat forever!!! :) if ever had any problems with food just eat have sorted problem out for me everytime! thanks just eat! HIGHLY RECOMENDED! +++++++++++

Very good food services

I often use just eat to order a curry for me and my family, they always delivered, in time and the food is always nicely cooked and hot . have to recommend just eat to my friends and family . and always have a good choice on the menu and a very good take away Services couldn't find a better one than just eat will highly recommend them to people.who want a quick easy meal and the choice of take away is really good.

Spot on service for a long distance lorry driver like myself

I'm new to all this an thought one night when parked with nowhere to get food I'd give it a try. I read the reviews and was a bit sceptical but I have jused it for the second time an must say on both occasions the food and service has been second to none. I have used it when in Felixstowe and now while I have been in Tipton. I will certainly using again in the not so distant future. It's certainly prevented a truck driver like myself from going to bed with a rumbling tummy

Easiest way to order a takeaway

Been using Just Eat for a number of years now even way back when you gained points for ordering and trade them in for t-shirts, etc.

Gone are the days when you used to dial up your local takeaway, and then hope they understood your order and got it right, its just so easy to use. Just choose what kind of food you are in the mood for, choose what you want then sit and wait. Easy

Its been interesting to watch the development and just seems to go from strength to strength and looking forward to seeing what else they have in store for us.

Great service and recommended

Hiya,

Lets be honest we all have favourite take away restaurants but sometimes a change is as good as a holiday or something.

The fact you can see every restaurant that can deliver to your door in an easy to understand web based service is really helpful. We've recently found a few gems including a great new Indian and (don't judge me) a fantastic fish and chip shop which delivers!

All in all great service and recommended to all.

the menu is like getting the ingredients from my cupboard and putting them together without the hard work of making it myself and the mess of cleaning up afterwards. food always tastes better when you haven't cooked it. Plenty of choice, good sized portions and full of delicious flavor. Well worth the money and the time to try out the food you will not be disappointed.

So simple and straight forward !

simple to use, all on the click of a button, why cant more takeaways sign up to them !
Everything is set up in a way that flows, ie starter main sides and deserts and as the order follows you down the page at least you can keep a good track of what your ordering and the total ! Will be using every time i order a takeaway !

Perfect way to order a takeaway

Just eat makes ordering a take away so quick and easy. I can search for what type of food I want. Read reviews on the takeaways and order with ease. If I dont have cash on me I can pay by card. Wouldn't be without Just-Eat

Hell of a lot easier than having a drawer full of menus.

perfect for when you only have your debit card to pay with as well. Only problems I have had are with 1 of the restaurants not Just Eat (who managed to help with my problem)

Great website, easy to use, saves on phone bills!

I've been using Just eat for a long time now, I find it very easy to use, there's a wide range of takeaways to choose from, they find the nearest outlets to your postcode that will almost always deliver to your address. There are some that I've had problems with that didn't deliver to my post code, but saying that, the majority of them do. All you need to do is find what type of food you want by typing in your post code, view the menu, select your food and extras, finalise order either by paying with your card or request to pay by cash on delivery. Simple. It saves money on phone bills too as you don't need to use your phone. If there are any problems or queries with your order, either Just eat will contact you almost right away, or the takeaway themselves will contact you to help you out. I recommend Just eat to anyone who likes to order takeaways. It's very easy and I've also got some friends into using it regularly too. Great company.
*Edit* I'd also like to add I've managed to find some amazing takeaways using just eat, places I would never have known existed were it not for this website, and some I regularly order from because the food is just that good. Thank you Just-eat :)

A wide range of takeaways to choose from

It's really good website that gives you plenty of choice of takeaways with lots of different food options such Chinese, Italian, English and Indian food. The places are rate by customers that have brought food from the restaurants and it's you a idea about the service they have received and which places are good and which ones to avoid. Its really useful website as it tells you when your food will be delivery and this gives you plenty of time to for you to prepare before the food arrives and chance to find the right money to pay the deliver person.

Fabulous Company

Such a variety to choose from. When you cant be bothered to cook, we just log on to Just Eat and order what we want. Order goes through quickly and is always delivered in the time that they say and to a high standard

You cannot beat, a trip to Just Eat

Just Eat is just such a marvellous invention. If ever I fancy a night off the cooking, I simply log on to the website and there is every style of grub that I could wish to chose from. The food is delivered promptly every time and the quality is very high. I probably couldn't do without this now!

Wow!!! Amazing service!!

I always eat from taste of nawab an Indian restaurant on Colney hatch lane and I have always had an amazing meal, they have amazing staff who are always polite and smiling I couldn't ask for more!!'

There is no other food app that comes close!

I love just eat as it as all varieties of foods available from pizza to Chinese and it doesnt matter what time you order as you can find out what times the eateries are open till which is amazing I use them all the time

When your hungry and want food fast think Just eat!

This place is great to order from there is not much to say about it apart from it is top notch, you find takeaways that you didnt know existed and you tend to know which ones to avoid with the ratings system all in all 10/10.

Perfection.

I'd honestly tell anyone to use this site. It makes it so easy to see a range of foods - I found out about some takeaways in my area that I didn't even know existed! - and because it's so easy you can have your food selected, ordered and paid for in a matter of minutes. It's perfect if you're low on time or effort when it comes to cooking the meal for the evening. Just search for your postcode, and you're there! My favourite take-away site by far.

Just eat is the Amazing way forward

I love just eat, i don't often carry around spare cash and when we fancy a takeaway i know that i can go on just eat and pay by card. I have never had any problems using this service. We usually use just eat on a weekly basis sometimes more to be honest because it just is so easy to use. Its great how you can choose takeaways by cuisine and its so much easier that its all added up for you at the end so i don't have to keep adding up to ensure i have gone over what i wanted to spend. I would highly recommend just eat to anyone, i already do. I just love it...

Tap TAp TAP... Ordering Takeaway's online couldn't be easier.

I don't know how I should put this, but I have a secret that I have not shared with you. Unlike the rest of us I guess I am the only one who absolutely hates having to order takeaway by phone, cos' you know me the less I have to speak the better. Since I first discovered Justeat.co.uk (thanks to my lil sis) I am no longer hesitant when it's my turn to order. So now you know my guilty secret...

When you're rumbly in your tumbly, use just-eat and don't go hungry

I use Just-Eat all the time as it's quick and easy and I can use my card for payments.
The new App makes it even easier to use and I often place an order on my Google Nexus Tablet as it can easily be handed around so everyone can choose what they want from the menu and then I can click to order.

Makes meal times so easy

Whats for tea ? shout the hoard but no one wants to cook , I struggle to use the phone so ordering over the internet is a fantastic option for me .
I am a disabled mum and the days when no one is available to help with the cooking Just Eat offers so much variety, yes I can even get a salad ....... Fantastic .... I am one happy, happy woman I reccomend Just Eat to everyone

As someone who hates using the phone to order a takeaway, JustEat has been my saviour!! So many takeaways to choose from and before you decide you can look at the reviews other users have left....brilliant! I always use JustEat these days....just a few clicks and your order is on it's way, happy days!
