Horrible customer service!
Go ahead and try to talk to a live human during this busy Memorial day W.E... IMPOSSIBLE why? because priceline does not have enough people working ???
Oh well i complained about a very bad hotel about 2 weeks ago and try to get priceline to do something about it, i did talk to someone who promised that somebody would get back with me within 5 days!!! 2 WEEKS LATER= NOTHING and today forget about talking to anybody live.
How much are you really saving anyway? not 30% not 20% in most cases 10% when you offer a price on a mysterious hotel.
This last one i paid $70 and it was not worth $30.

Great prices and convenient to use, Priceline is a must when i travel.
I do 90 % of my business in travel mode. So, I stay in hotels about 3 wks out of every month. I depend on Priceline to find the best prices and to make them available to me. I have never had any problems with Priceline, when issues did arise one time for a double booking, Priceline's Customer Service was exquisite. For me, it is the only travel site that makes business travel seem like a vacation.

I love priceline.
I feel satisfied with every purchase I have ever made on priceline. Not every hotel is a four star luxury experience but I am usually aware of this prior to the purchase. Any surprise has been a good pleasant surprise. I try to use priceline whenever I travel.

Why shop anywhere else ?
I have never had a bad experience with Priceline. I have booked rooms five minutes
from the establishments walked in and was in my room in another five minutes.
If you are willing to book before knowing the name of the Hotel the best deals are
available. A great company with no disappointments ! Though I will miss William Shatner.

Horrible service for active duty
Port call date changed to leave country, conflicting dates with plane tickets and Priceline refuses to waive ticket change fees...refund or pay out of pocket AFTER flight insurance was bought. Good thing the insurance covers jury duty though Priceline, way to make your country proud

Name Your Own Price -
The Name Your Own Price is the best thing ever! I planned a last minute trip and logged on to Priceline.com about thirty minutes before I checked in. The hotel already had all my reservation information by the time I arrived to the hotel. I got a great rate for amazing accommodations.

Name your own price has resulted in cost savings several times for me!!
I have used Priceline several times for rental cars. First, I go to the major company websites and check prices. Then, I go to "discount" sites and check prices. Then, I go to Priceline and "name my own price" and have ALWAYS received a significant discount over "published" rates. Love it!!

I got a luxury hotel room at a motel price.
The site was easy to use and straight forward. I named my own price and was happy to find I was staying in one of the 6 high end hotels in the city I visited for less than the price of any other room listed on the site at the time. I'm a believer! I would definitely use Priceline again.

Name your own price is still the way to go...
I used to get super-duper deals at Priceline.com with the "Name your own price" feature, then the car rental companies started being more difficult. My best was $11/day, that was a few years ago. Recently, I still got a decent deal at $20/day, and the lady at Alamo was awesome. She upgraded me from the compact to economy (or is that the other way around?) for no additional charge because I made her smile, and because she personally felt scared driving the smaller car.
Anyway, in the many times I have utilized Priceline.com, they've always come through with really good deals. Though I will NEVER accept another bid from Hertz again!!

Made my holiday!
Booked hotel through bid process - turned out the hotel had major renovations in process. Priceline understood my concerns about staying here with renovations in progress, and helped me cancel reservations at no cost. Then I found a great hotel - 4 or 5 star. Well done, PCLN!

Priceline abandoned me and my family.Extremely Disappointed. Will never trust or use again.
I booked a room through Priceline online based on the reviews and price. We paid in full in advance approximately one month before our arrival date. My family traveled 8 hours by car to find that the Baymont hotel in St. Mary's, Georgia, was a cess pool. We checked into the first room and found hair all over one bed; broken and worn furniture; stained sheets and bedspreads; a large, hairy bug leg stuck to one of the blankets; and an overpowering stench of urine. The one and only employee working that afternoon transferred us to another room that was worse than the first.
I was very relieved to find our booking confirmation documentation listing a customer service telephone number.
I called the number and spoke to a young man by the name of Daniel who listened to my complaints, politely assured me Priceline would help me, and transferred me to a "reservation specialist"; the "reservation specialist" -Dillon, curtly informed me that because I paid in full in advance, Priceline would not refund one red cent of my money. I pleaded with Dillon and explained that it was obvious that the door to the room I was in had been repeatedly forced open. I further explained that the entire hotel was dirty and unsafe. I informed him that I use Priceline, because I trust the company, but this hotel was unsanitary, sub-par, and not safe for my family.
Dillon did not care. Dillon would not allow me to speak to a supervisor. He did state that I could write a letter to the company.
The solitary employee of the Baymont hotel informed me that because we booked through a third party, Baymont was unable to refund my money.
My desperation turned to anger and I demanded that the hotel manager come to the premises to speak to me. Dillon was still on the line - and still did not care.
Priceline has a contract with Baymont. I do not. I feel it was Priceline's responsibility to deal with the hotel, not mine.
Priceline completely abandoned my family.
I booked a room with a nearby LaQuinta who took pity on my plight, gave a discount, and advised that according to standard industry practices, Priceline should have refunded my money. The room and service we received at LaQuinta were excellent.

Amazing great deals
I am also amazed at the way Priceline can negotiate fantastic deals for hotels. I used it on my vacation and managed to come out lower than expected on hotels on several occasions during one vacation. I actually booked the hotel as I went and not in advance (although I recommend not to do it this way). Sometimes we only plan what to do wherever as we go around so we don't always know where we're going to end up. Priceline shows all the prices on a map, and that's what I really like about it. I've used the negotiate function twice, and have gotten really good deals with it. The only thing I don't like about negotiating is that it's like gambling, I don't know what hotel I will get until after I pay, and then it's a done deal. But so far I've been lucky. I've also been denied once with my low negotiating price, but you can always bid and negotiate again. It seems outrageous though what Priceline can get for you. Love it!
My only complaint is that the app on my iPad crashes a lot (or it doesn't like my bids ;).

Best website for hotels!
Price line is the only website I go to now for hotels. Every time I use it I am flabbergasted at the price I get. I have used many other sites in the past and they just give a better price than the rest while not shorting you on anything else

Quick, simple, trustworthy, and affordable deals on travel!
I was Leary about doing the express deals on Priceline because you don't get to know what hotel you get until its already paid for and a done deal, however, we ended up getting a fabulous deal on a wonderful hotel and spa in the perfect location at a great price! I was so satisfied with the experience I went home and booked another hotel through them for our next trip!!

Service Made easy.
I have used price-line in many of my hotel accommodation. The Express Deal is my preferred way to secure a GREAT great and a price desirable price; The Star Quality within the express deal also provide like hotels that gives the extra peace of mind.

I Love The Awesome Deals At Priceline!!
The best thing about priceline is the immediate deals. I love the fact that you just bid on a hotel based on stars and location, but you have no idea where you are staying. Me and my family love this as we get to stay in different hotel's each time. And it literally saves you on average 40% or better. Simply Amazing =)

Best deal on car rental I have ever had.
I always find great deals on Priceline for hotels, so I decided to try a car rental.
The car exceeded my expectations and the price could not be beat anywhere.
I will always use Priceline first.

GREAT SOURCE FOR HOTEL ROOMS & CARS
I HAVE USED PRICELINE FOR MANY YEARS TO GET HOTEL ROOMS AND RENTAL CARS. PRICELINE DELIVERS WHAT THEY SAY THE WILL BUT BUYERS NEED TO BE AWARE OF THE T's & C's OF THE STANDARD PRICELINE AGREEMENT. THIS IS NOT BURGER KING - YOU DON'T GET YOUR WAY. YOU GET IT THE PRICELINE WAY. THIS ISN'T BAD BUT PEOPLE DO NEED TO BE AWARE.
I GET ALMOST ALL OF MY RENTAL CARS AND ALL OF MY HOTEL ROOMS VIA PRICELINE AND I USE THE 'NAME YOUR OWN PRICE' FEATURE. THIS WORKS REALLY WELL AND TRAVELERS CAN GET SOME VERY REAL BARGAINS THIS WAY. I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH ANY OF THE THINGS I HAVE BOOKED THROUGH THEM.
THERE ARE A COUPLE OF WEBSITES OUT THERE THAT PROVIDE TUTORIALS ON HOW PRICELINE WORKS PLUS PROVIDING A FORUM FOR USERS TO LIST THEIR WINNING BIDS AS A GUIDELINE FOR OTHERS. I WOULD SUGGEST THAT EVEN SEASONED PRICELINE CUSTOMERS CAN BENEFIT FROM THE INFORMATION POSTED ON THESE WEBSITES.
I HAVE NEVER USEDPRICELINE FOR AIRLINE TICKETS BECAUSE I HAVE OT BE ABLE TO CONTROL MY ITERARIES BUT FOR CARS & HOTELS I WOULD RECOMMEND PRICELINE TO ANYONE.

Money Hungry Fools
I just booked my first, and probably last, airline ticket with this company. This started out being a great experience and easy might i add. I used the priceline pick your own price deal expecting it to give me a decent set of flights. NO. Absolutely not. I selected to fly on June 7 and come back on June 9. HAHA Joke's on ME! They booked me a flight for Friday June 7, at 10 PM to arrive on Saturday morning at 12:03 am, and then leave Sunday morning at 7 AM!!!! I would only have ONE DAY, one measly old day to spend where i wanted to spend a total of three. Will they respect that and change ONE flight to have it to where I would leave a tad bit later?? ABSOLUTELY NOT. I wanted to change the TIME, not cancel and get my money back. They state I agreed to the terms and conditions etc. This company acts like all they want is money. Once they have my money it doesn't matter and me being a customer and what I want does not mean a thing to this company.

I was skeptical about the Express Deals on their site, but we ended up with a big name hotel with an awesome room for 55% off the normal price! I also noticed they have the same hotels/room options as Orbitz, but for less than Orbitz had listed! Will definitely be a return customer.

Watch out for Priceline's Agoda partner!
I've used priceline many times; always happy. A half hour ago I booked a hotel in Vegas. Small print on Priceline said the reservation would be handled by Priceline's partner Agoda. After I committed, I received an email from "fraudprevention" at Agoda telling me to send them a scanned copy of the front and back of the credit card I used. I am told there is no reservation until I do so. I am also told I can't even cancel the reservation until I do so. Agoda says if I don't do so, my request for a reservation will be cancelled, and assures me I won't be charged in that case.
I am NOT sending an image of the front and back of my credit card to any business, let alone some foreign firm I never heard of. So, I tried to call priceline to get them to cancel, BUT YOU CAN'T CALL PRICELINE. You need to email them first, and then they'll give you a code so that you can call and talk to somebody. You need a Priceline itinerary number, but guess what: I have no itinerary number.
So, watch the fine print on Priceline. Right now, I do not know if I can trust them anymore.

Ive used them for one day trips, and for up to 3 month trips, they save me money, and I get so much more for what I spend. Most the time I walk into my room and say Wow all this for that price !! im very very happy with My PRICELINE !!!

No one beats Priceline prices!!!
been using priceline for years, and I cant definitively claim i used them for more than 30 booking so far, and if they always saved me a bundle!!! compared to travelocity and expedia they provide a better value and their maps are better drawn if you want to bid blindly !!! and 2 times where i had issues with the hotel ( infected rooms) they cancelled my bidding and I was able to check out ... and refunded me for rooms booked on Name your price!!!
i'm a field engineer and i spend extensive period of time travelling , in 2010 after my apartment lease expired i decided to not renew it and for a whole year I used priceline to book hotel rooms in my time off, that saved me thousands of dollars!!! and extremely nice value for my money for $40 to $60/night bidding i was able to get 3 stars and up in different cities, $45/night in Hyatt in DC, $40 /night in Marriott Courtyard in Virginia, Austin and Houston, $50 in Hilton ...and so many other amazing bookings!!! ...that thrill that i get while bidding on Priceline is part of the why I Iove priceline !!! ....good job priceline , keep it up.

Useless, wrothless on short notice booking, No help at all.
I tell you what you should expect if you make a mistake booking the wrong hotel, you can expect no help at all. I book the wrong best western I called the hotel and they said sure was can swap the reservation to the new hotel and I could pay the cost difference. But when I call priceline to swap the reservation to the correct hotel they said NO! They then lied and said the hotel will not allow refunds, I said I talked to the guy and said it would not be a problem, I begged him to call the hotel and pointed out expedia calls the hotel if there a problems. He told me priceline does not contact hotel and when I click OK on transaction I said I agree to 10 pages of contract junk saying I can not have a refund, But I did not WANT a refund I wanted another best western hotel closer to where I needed to stay. But the SOB would not work with me at all. This is not the 1st time another time was about a year ago in Dallas at some crack hotel that charge 35 dollars for no light parking or parking service. I told them hell No, and I wasn't going to stay at such an obvious rip off because they did not show the charges for parking on priceline. Still refused to refund my money. I ended up paying 190 to stay at a different hotel, and until this day never have gotten a REFUND.

Priceline is our go to travel planning site. Use EVERY time and always recommend to friends and family. Priceline makes it fun and easy. it takes the fear out of Name Your Own Price because it can be relied upon. Kudos! Look fwd to next travel booking.

Name your own price is the only way to go!!
I have used Priceline's Name Your Own Price many times. I shop government rates, AARP, AAA, and other specials but the Name Your Own Price seems to always be the cheapest. However, this time with the added Priceline fees to my bid, I don't really think I saved much by going through Priceline. Start bidding early, so you don't have to raise your price or lower your star level in order to get a room at the last minute.

Absolute best price using Name Your Own Price
From Disney World vacations to one night stays I've always been able to get the absolute best price with Priceline's Name Your Own Price bidding. I shop military rates, corporate discount rates from business, AAA, and other memberships, but the Name Your Own Price always ends up getting the best deal after several tries.
Don't give up after the first few tries, just wait and try again, eventually the hotel will accept your offer if they have empty rooms and your price is right.
The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that Priceline charges fairly high, '"taxes and fees," after your bid is accepted. I would give five stars if Priceline's fee was included in the hotel quote upfront. Mixing the fee in with 'taxes' charged after bidding is somewhat deceptive.

great deal
Looked at all the websites and this one was the best price for the hotel I was looking at. Do not trust a site that will not tell you the hotel name until after you book!! Will definately use again-Love Shatner!!
