Super fast delivery, parcel safe and secure, I would defernitely recommend this delivery service to others! Truly Fantastic! Delivery man very polite and friendly! Most impressed, best delivery company around!
I've never had such disgusting and discourteous experience in my whole life! I've ordered products online with SPORTS DIRECT . COM and waited at home all day when they were meant to be delivered. However the Courier Company YODEL they were sent with had one of the employee's faked my signature and either stole the items themselves or left them somewhere where they were stolen! No delivery note, nothing at all! Contacted them with a number found on a forum, got through after 28 minutes on hold! Got told to fill out a form of 'NON RECEIPT OF GOODS' and they would get back within 24 hours! It's been 11 Days and I'm still struggling to get in touch with anyone or get a response as to what actions will be taken! All emails are being ignored and all calls have a pre recorded message 'we are receiving a large number of calls...goodbye' VERY UNHAPPY! Absolutely disgusted! Wish I had checked reviews before I bothered ordering! Will be informing police and a solicitors in the next couple of days!
Very pleased with condition of item and the quickmess of delivery Delivery man very polite I would be pleased to use yodel for any future deliveries
waited in all day Wednesday 22 may for delivery from virgin no show by 8.00pm so phoned yodel was given drivers number phoned driver to be told he has no car at the moment so cant do any delivery's phoned yodel back next day Thursday 23 may was told would definitely be delivered today waited in all day low and behold still no delivery see what excuse they come up with tomorrow when will company's learn using yodel is not good for your reputation.
made an order on the 15th of May and missed the first delivery on monday 20th due to work (no card was left). On my first day off the 22nd I rang Yodel and was PROMISED the delivery would be the next day the 23rd between 7am and 9pm so went out only to come home and find that someone had tried to deliver even though I was told it would be the 23rd not the 22nd so I rang back and was told no the delivery will be on the 23rd. I have waited in all day today the 23rd and no delivery has been made I rang Yodel and was told my package has not left storage and they can't grantee tomorrow either now because of the time so I now have to wait in all day even though my package my not come. I find this level of costumer service a disgrace on Yodels part and also Gaps for using a delivery service with such a poor record. My mum is also waiting for a package of this shambles of a company. She was told they tried to deliver today which was a lie. She's taken a day of work and waited in no one has been. WOULD NOT RECOMEND TO ANYONE. complaint has been made to Gap.
Ordered a £400 camera and case from Very.co.uk.....
- Driver could not find my flat, never bothered to phone me so did not receive.
- Spoke to customer service to re-arrange and change the delivery address, they said they can't change the address! So I said I will pick it up.
- Travelled 10 miles (after already paying delivery charge) to get item, was told item was sent back to seller!!!!!!!
- Now waiting for refund from Very, will not be ordering again so Very have missed out on £400+ I will be letting them know this.
Embarrassingly poor service.
My parcel from Amazon was estimated to have been delivered today 23rd May but was delivered early 22nd May at 1:34 p.m when I was out all day and I did not return home until just before 23:00 When the courier came round today following my complaint to Amazon, he said he thought he was doing me a favor leaving the parcel behind the wheelie bin unsigned for, yet on Amazon it states signed by AITKEN even though he signed his own datapad.

The on line tracking page was brilliant with all the stages clearly evident. Next day delivery on time.
I get a lot of items delivered, some parcels arrive looking as if someone has been playing football with them and the couriers act as if you are making their life a misery by existing, so this firm was a refreshing change.
This parcel arrived in excellent condition and the courier was both professional and made me feel like a valued customer.
Best parcel delivery service in the last 6 months.
Yodel were responsible for collecting a table which I wished to be returned as it was badly damaged in delivery. On the first occasion that they were supposed to collect it they went to the wrong address. On the second occasion they failed to arrive and no one bothered to contact me. On the third occasion, despite calls to their customer service helpdesk requesting that they prioritise this collection given that they had failed to collect it on two seperate occasions, they turned up at 7.10pm just expecting me to be in.
Their customer services reps had no idea what their drivers are up to, were able to provide no information whatsoever other than assuring me that a driver would collect it at some time, failed to escalate my complaints and in one instance hung up on me when I told them the service they provide was useless. Whenever I called, which was on numerous occasions, none of their reps seemed to have any record of the fact that they had failed to collect the table multiple times. To give an idea of how little they knew, I got told of three different times that they collect until over the course of one day, all of which were well before when they actually arrived. I was told that a Manager would be calling me as I had registered a complaint and have yet to speak to anyone. I don't hold out hope that one will bother to be in touch as they clearly don't care. Their social media team did at least give the impression that they were trying to help and claimed that they had escaled the fact that I was still waiting for a driver to turn up after three days but to give them any credit would be to give the impression that the experience was not all bad which would not be deserved.
Unless you want to be put in a position were you are given no other option aside from contacting Watchdog I would strongly suggest avoiding them like the plague. I cannot recall having to deal with such an incompetent, clueless, unsympathetic company before; in short they should not be in business. Judging by the feedback left on every site I have viewed and various newspaper articles concerning their inability to deliver the service they claim they pride themselves on, this sort of review should come as no surprise to them. Appalling experience all round.
This is the 2nd time that yodel was supposed to pick up a parcel. 1st time was end of last month when it took 3 collection dates before they showed up. This time the 2nd collection date has come and gone and the parcel is still here. I emailed them yesterday evening and still no reply. I emailed Amazon to let them know what was happening and they have arranged with another Carrier so hope this is more successful. Any way back to yodel, they boast on their website about the number of vans they have, just wonder if they have any drivers for them. Yodel is the most unreliable and customer unfriendly firm I have dealt with, and going by the number of negative feedbacks it doesn't look like changing.
I have now had two bad experiences with this company. First was at Christmas when I ordered a scooter for my son via Amazon. This order never arrived and I had no explaination as to why. This time I ordered a large item from Ideal World and now 2 weeks later I still haven't got my item. Have spoken to 3 different people in costumer services all saying something completely different and one of them was very rude. When tracking the item it said that delivery had been attempted several times and cards had been left. NO THE DIDN'T!!! The last...very rude....man I spoke to told me that he had re-arranged the delivery to be sent out to me today but when I tracked it I am now being told that it has been sent back to the supplier.......NOT HAPPY AT ALL and will be avoiding this company from now on.
The yodel tracking is great and the delivery man is polite courtious very helpful which helps with larger packages as Im disabled,He makes you feel he has time for you Not like some other delivery companies who Knock and just dump you parcel not careing if you are in.
"Delivery attempted, card left with customer with carrier contact detail" - Bulls**t! 2 blank cards left without any information. Was not possible to track the parcel on yodel site. I was told that I can come and collect my parcel from their depot, but they had sent it for delivery 2 hours before I came.
Everytime I place an order and I get a dispatch date unless there is a problem on they're end ie product is sold out,
I know my delivery driver is always there first thing with my parcel I don't have to wait in for him! Kieran Trigg SP8581 from Bristol is by far the best delivery guy and works super hard, he even collects my parcels at a moments notice brilliant service :)
Ordered an item for delivery (42" TV) which the supplier said was despatched on the 17th May (Friday), and was given the courier name of [External reference removed](part of Yodel) and that a two man team was needed for the delivery (items weighs 17 kgs inc packaging). Checked the tracking several times, some times it worked and others it didn't. Managed to get confirmation the item was out for delivery 22nd May, 12.00 - 16.00 hrs. I knew I wouldn't be home so phone the contact number and said "I wont be home can I come and collect the item from the depot in Enfield" (I live in Romford so no exactly local) - response "No, we don't allow people in the depot we have heavy machinery working. Im not asking to wander round their warehouse, just simply pop into reception and collect the item.
When I asked why every other courier allows own collections I was given some old fob of excuses about health & safety etc. When I asked what other options were available I was told "Friday 12.00 -16.00 hrs" which again I will be working.
By coincidence I work for a logistics company, we ship all around the world using various couriers - none of which are so unhelpful as this crowd. So tomorrow I have to take an afternoon off in the hope that they do actually deliver tomorrow.
Seen all the other reviews about contacting them via social.media blah blah blah. Wont be doing that, but will be making a complaint to the people I bought the goods from... wont be ordering again if they use Yodel / [External reference removed]
I am from FIX A gadget. ltd, for the last four weeks i am trying get YODEL to ring me back in regards that we wanted to use their couriers services. they have no sales teams no. just contact us page fill in a form and wait wait wait wait. i have filled in contact us page SIX TIMES no luck. ring customer service get adviced "sorry sir please fill in the form again" what utterly rubbish. here i am trying to give our business to yodel and to expect a fantastic service from yodel but NO RESPONSE i even emailed 'clientsadmin@yodel.co.uk' still no response
i have given up now .
Ordered a package on Friday, on Monday I check the tracking which says to my surprise that it was delivered the day after at midday, whilst I was in the house. I had not received the package. I ring customer services who say it has been left with a random neighbor, but the delivery man can't remember which house it was. He gives me a "name" of the person who signed for the package, but the signature is too illegible to confirm this. I subsequently ask everyone on my road (over 25 houses) if they have had a parcel delivered/if they recognise the name of who signed for it. It turns out that the so-called neighbor who "signed" for my package left the road a year ago. Instead, my parcel has been left in front of the door of a house (currently unoccupied), a 5 minute walk from mine not even on the same road. I have come to the conclusion that the delivery driver couldn't be bothered to find my house, remembered the name of someone he thought still lived near me and forged a signature in their name, leaving my expensive package outside in the rain for 2 days. There was NO note put through my door to say it had been left somewhere else, and why couldn't it be delivered to me directly as I was in the house?!
Disgusting service and disregard for other peoples property, I shall be avoiding Yodel at all costs.
I have used a fair few delivery companies with varied opinions on them all but hand on heart i have to say i have never found a parcel delivery company like Yodel.
You go online to MyYodel.com and book your purchase and when you want it collected, print your paperwork, stick it on your parcel. Then wait till next day when they collect and then deliver without any hiccups.
In my honest opinion they are second to none even RM do not come close.
Package was meant to come on Friday. It didn't and it wasn't til I rang up at 7pm I was told this was the case. Depot was closed so couldn't deliver??
Package was meant to come on Monday. It didn't and it wasn't til I rang up at 7pm I was told this was the case. Package was sent with wrong driver so couldn't deliver!
On both occasions tracking on website was not updated to tell me it wasn't coming.
Each time have to ring through a really long drawn out process where you can't preselect options. I was cut off 3 times today and once on Friday. Each time I was advised it was someone elses fault. On the Friday it was Ebuyers because they had told them. I pointed out that they hadn't updated their website and they apologised again. Today it was my fault for not ringing sooner! Why would I ring if the package is showing out for delivery?
Yes, the staff on the phones are polite but what else would you expect? I was told that the package can't be sent tomorrow unless I ring at 8am.
I've wasted two days of annual leave for a package that keeps on failing to turn up and I am not happy at all. The best I have been advised by their staff is to complain to the original company to get my money back. Why not give a premium delivery? Flag my record so delivery is definitely attempted. Don't tell me that it 'might' come Tuesday or Wednesday because no one reads the emails til the trucks go out. It's really poor! I have a job and a limited amount of annual leave that I do not want to use up to wait for a package that isn't coming!
If I ran the company and someone rang on the Friday saying it hadn't been delivered, I would have immediately offered saturday service. Failing that I certainly would have ensured it got to the customer on the day we said we could next delier. Failing that I would update the website so the customer knows!
I would like to give a higher review but you are a delivery company - if you don't deliver or tell me you aren't coming without me having to chase you then why would I give anything other than 1 star?
Tim Craig
Placed an order with a company of Friday, and received an email at 16:00, to state my parcel has been dispatched, and imagine the shivers going down my spine when I saw the carrier for this parcel :(
Now, I have had terrible experiences in the past, and clicked on the website, to track my order, and imagine my surprise, when the number I entered came up as invalid, Now a little investigating, I found I had to take the 2 letters out, now forgive me for stating the obvious, but why on earth supply a consignment number, if you have to take bits out. Just another reflection on the dire service given. Now I reentered my number, and still no tracking info.
So I rang customer services, but to be honest, I might as well spoke to a cleaner, as I got NO customer service. I gave all my details, to be told it could take a few hours to update on the system. How long should I leave it, to which the answer was 'try tomorrow'. Well I could in theory receive the product before I can track it, just unacceptable!!
I asked a couple of questions, to which I got the answer, I will send an email to the collecting depot, well good luck for that pal, because you never asked where it was collected from!! So yet more lies.
Dire, Dire, Dire. Please all, dont use Yodel to send your goods, or you will end up with irritated or disgruntled customers like me. :(
dont updated there site that often , still waiting in for my items on my one day off , is my stuf every going to turn up today would be nice to know
These guys used to be called HDNL. They were woeful. You can read about how poor service was then. Instead of rectifying any aspect of a uniformly terrible company, the management just changed the company's name. That demonstrates the rat-like thinking of the company's management.
The only thing they deliver is wasted time. I've just spent a Saturday morning stuck indoors waiting for a redelivery that's failed to show up. This is the last in a number of failed deliveries from a number of different online stores that use this poor poor company. I live in an average street in London where no other couriers have any trouble delivering parcels. It's just this bunch of numpties.
The reason given for the first failed deliver was "incomplete address" yet on the same page, they cited my full address.
The online chat guy had a look and straightaway said, "Can I rearrange delivery" so clearly there was no problem in the first place.
He offered AM delivery and nothing's turned up.
At 12:45 I went online and their chat service is closed, despite stating that it is open until 1pm on Saturdays.
These guys are the pits.
EDIT: Just to add, the latest delivery turned up late in the afternoon -luckily I had just got back in. The driver was a really nice guy - that's been my experience before too - the drivers are decent, conscientious people working hard, but who are being let down by the company and management behind them.
Super fast courier service, with friendly and polite staff. Packages are looked after and handled carefully. I received my package within 24 hours of it arriving in their depot and was very impressed. Highly recommend this service.
I ordered a parcel for delivery that was due 17/05/13 I was given a consignment number from yodel that was completely wrong and went to a le17 address ( at least they got there parcel from sports direct delivered!) I had ordered from serenata flowers to a London address En3. I rang in yesterday at around quarter past eight and was sat in the calling queue for more than 20 minutes ( must be a lot if complaints) to be out through to a lady that said I need to ring sports direct as they had given yodel the incorrect address details. I explained that no I haven't ordered anything from sports direct. Anyway she eventually found the correct consignment number after putting me in hold for ages and advised it was still out for delivery and would be there by nine pm ( ten minutes away)
It didn't arrive..... I've rung in this morning to be told its out today ( I needed it yesterday) and that it failed due to there being no access to the property around 14.00 which is complete rubbish! Why did the lady I speak to last night insist it was still due fur delivery. My husband laughed when I told him Yodel are the courier his parcels he ordered for monthers day came 4 days late. Will never use Yodel again terrible service.
On a few occasions, I have had an extremely bad experience with yodel. They are very economical with the truth. Their drivers are drilled to lie about leaving cards when in fact no cards get left behind. They have the audacity to keep you waiting for hours on end when they know they will not turn up and then leave you a message to say you were not in the house. I sometimes shudder to think they are allowed to run such a disgusting business in these shores. The service is substandard to say the least. They do not have an appetite for change as this has been allowed to carry on for such a long time. As long as they secure these contracts from businesses and their proceeds keep rising there is no appetite for change. Strictly speaking yodel are such an inconvenience. They do not complement the excellent service provided by companies such as Sports Direct. They turn the whole shopping experience sour leaving you with a broken heart. I recently traveled to see my family that I had not seen for years without the presents I hoped I would give to the loved ones. They kept me waiting till the last minute. I reluctantly had to cancel the order. That is bad, very bad.
My beanbag was sent without problem...problem started at Yodel!! Delivery address was to my son (living in high rise block of flats) Received text on the Wednesday to state they had delivered parcel but no parcel or calling card to my son. Rang Yodel who kept me waiting over 15 mins then cut off, rang again...13 min wait this time but did speak to pleasant operator. The parcel was delivered all right but to some random person living in this high rise block of flats!!! OMG! Needless to say, no sign of the beanbag and since its now Friday me thinks we'll never get it. Nice operator has launched an investigation and states that maybe this person has forgotten to hand beanbag to my son. Happy customer - I think not! Don't use them.
The service was very easy in terms of tracking and very effective. It delivered ahead of time and in good condition.
I GOT MY ITEMS I SENT FOR , THEY GOT DELIVERD BY YODEL.GREAT SERVICE AND ALSO EASY TO CHECK WERE YOUR ORDER IS ONLINE ,TRY THIS SERVICE FOR YOUR SELF,YOU WILL BE SINGING YODEL HAY HE HE BACK,,,,,,,,,
Ordered my phone which should of come today, been waiting in all day & receive a text at 4.45 to say that sorry we have missed you we have posted a calling card through your door. Well Yodel, you never came as I've been at home all day waiting for my new phone!Oh & tried to ring customer service where I was put on hold for 15mins but never got through. Not happy at all,I want my phone!
They are very very good at not delivering a parcel. The address on the system was incomplete so I called them up to update the driver. I was told that the driver could only be contacted at the depot. Which in itself is strange as one would assume that contacting the driver would be kind of important for a delivery company.
We waited all day and around luckily we were working on the outside of the building so we thought we would catch them. Around 5pm the delivery status shows as attempt made but now one contactable. I guess the invisible van was hard for us to spot!
This is not my first bad experience with Yodel. They previously lost a very important parcel.
Amazon told me that my parcel was due for delivery by 17 May 2013. I checked the parcel tracker service and saw that Yodel say they attempted delivery but my address was wrong. My home is awkward to find so I called up to give details. All day today their site has said "Gatwick Service Centre out for delivery 8:50 am" and here we are, over 8 hours later and no sign, no call, no text, nothing, zip, nada. I know they say they can deliver anytime between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm ~ potentially a 14 hour day for the driver and that doesn't even include getting back to the depot. I could go into driving hours and multi-drop rules (assuming they don't use a tachograph which would be more punitive to driving hours). Given that on a good day with no traffic or other hold-up Crawley is 45 minutes away from my home I can only conclude that I am not getting my parcel today. This is particularly annoying in that yesterday I spent some time on the phone giving precise details of how to find my home and passed on my home number and mobile number. A thorough waste of my day and I will probably have to go through it again until the parcel is eventually delivered. A text to give even a 4 hr time slot would be preferable to the way I have been treated today.
UPDATE
Parcel finally delivered at 7:25 pm. On talking to the driver it is clear my directions weren't passed and the delivery was only made because the driver used his initiative. I do not blame the driver for my experience. I will endeavour to find out who the courier is next time and if it is Yodel I would rather not place an order for goods. If they operated a text based system, like DPD did on 2 occasions for me about a week ago, my rating would be that much higher.
Second time in 2 weeks that I have used Yodel. They are quick, efficient, and informative regarding the progress of your parcel/s. Well recommended.
I always receive my package on time, however to the wrong house. My next door neighbor seems to receive my package as you don't take notice of the numbers on the houses. Its very frustrating as she is very elderly and cannot see the parcels so thinks they are for her and gets confused. PLEASE just take more notice of house numbers in future and stop rushing.
Why do yodel pretend that they tried to deliver your parcel when they didn't? They say they left a card, but they didn't! They didn't leave a card because they didn't attempt delivery! Totally crap service!
i ordered a present for my daughters birthday a few days ago- and got a delivery date if the 17th May. Today- the 16th, i checked its transit and was shocked to see it had been "delivered" yesterday at 13.39pm. BUT it said that it was at the mItcham centre at that same time. I was able to see that it had been signed for by "someone" who had the same christian name as myself- i always sign using my signature, never my first name. I tried calling Yodel's number but was asked to give the number on the card..... but , I hadnt actually recieved one...because it had been delivered obviously. I then went on their website chat and tried to find out where it was. I was told that there was a signature which was, unfortunately, unreadable, yet on their website it clearly states just my Christian name. I said i was out all day at work on wednesday, and have been round to all my neighbours and they havent received anything. Yodel were of no help whatsoever, couldnt tell me the name of the driver, and just to take it up with Amazon. As far as I am concerned, there has been a theft and am tempted to go to the police on this matter. They couldnt even tell me the number of the building it had been "delivered" to and couldnt care less- her name was Karen on the chat. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING SERVICE WHICH IS FULL OF THIEVING SCUM.
