There is only one way to Search - Google

Whether it's familiarity or what, I cannot bring myself to use any search engine but Google, I can't find fault. I also use Google for email, and yet again the service is faultless. Thank you Google.

Good Shopping Experience

I have shopped online with M&S a number of times now; buying items ranging from clothes to furniture. I have nothing but praise for them. Ordering is easy and you're kept well informed all the time leading up to delivery - useful when expecting a large piece of furniture. The M&S delivery drivers are friendly, helpful and courteous as well.

Can't Fault Tesco Direct

I've purchased everything from a double bed to bottles of wine from Tesco Direct... and all I can say is the service is faultless. Keep it up Tesco. Oh, and I also get clubcard points!

Itunes

Useless

There's not enough space here to say what's wrong with iTunes, it's easier to say what's right - nothing.
This is the most flawed and user-unfriendly piece of software I've ever come across. I'm not the only one who's had their iPod wiped clean by iTunes or had albums split into dozen of individual albums. I would use Windows Media Player any day over iTunes. I only use iTunes because I HAVE to in order to load my iPod. If iTunes doesn't improve I'll be using a different make of MP3 player when my iPod wears out.

First Port of Call for a Tech or Software Review

I will always have a look at cnet before buying any tech or software. Their reviews are always conscientious and unbiased, plus I like the facility for users to add their reviews as well. Far better than buying all those What...? magazines to find out the best item of tech to buy.
A must for any Favourites when surfing the net.

Dell

Not the Cheapest, but Good Quality

I've never been disappointed with both the service and the products from Dell. I've now had 5 different PC's and laptops from them and they've all been superb. My only gripe is they certainly know how to charge for any add-ons you may want from a standard design computer.
On a final note, I've NEVER had a problem or failure of any of my purchases from Dell - they've just eventually become outdated like all PC's do.

Apple

Brilliant Hardware but iTunes is totally flawed

Lovely design of hardware, but what does Apple think they're playing at with iTunes? It's not even as good as Windows Media Player!
Come on Apple, stop being so arrogant and let us load our iPods from a media player of our choice. Oh, and while I mentioning arrogance, let me mention pure stubbornness... when are you going to use Flash Player on your devices? Until you do, I won't be replacing my iPod or buying an iPad or iPhone.

Fine until you need to contact them

I like the idea of Twitter, but don't bother trying to contact them if you have a complaint or problem - they don't answer you and then eventually send an email saying they haven't heard any more from you so they're closing the case!!!
Concept = 5 stars
Customer service = 0 stars

Amazon

Many Online Companies could learn from Amazon

I have nothing but praise for Amazon. They are efficient and easy to shop with. On the couple of occasions where I've had a problem or needed to return an item they couldn't have been more helpful - their returns system is simple, straightforward and works well. I subscribe to Amazon Prime as a regular shopper, it's well worth paying for, particularly since other members of your household can get free delivery under the one subscription.
Amazon are a modern company who've got it right and set a good example for the standard required of online shopping.

I have used Cult Pens a couple of times now and cannot fault them. Their prices are competetive, their choice of brands are extensive and their service is propmpt and efficient. What more can I say?

I am in my 50's and do most of my shopping online. I work from home so have no problem "waiting in" for deliveries. I hate the crush of shopping in large stores.
I always do extensive research online before making any major purchase, and I always give feedback to companies whether good or bad. I think it is critical to the success of the online experience to praise as readily as complain. Too many reviews become unbalanced because it's mostly those with a gripe who bother to type a review.
