Last year we ordered a cooker from appliances online and was delivered with no problems. Recently we have had to replace our washing machine and decided to try the same company again. However, trying to book online we found that they could not deliver to our area. This is because we live in The Scottish Highlands, part of the UK mainland. Apparently, after speaking to one of their customer service advisors it was a recent policy change due to high delivery costs. Strange really as the Royal Mail manage, Amazon manage and so does most other companies. Very unfair on ourselves and a lot of other people in Scotland.
