A part from FAST INTERNET, Virgin media is rubbish.
They REALLY dont care about You AT ALL.
I have wasted so much time and money with Them. NOW CONSIDERING TO CHANGE TO "BE internet", because the service there is SUPERB. I would sacrifice the speed for quality of service.
Ive been having Internet problems which could go on for weeks....
Someone can come to fix the problem, they take a look for couple of minutes, and say, "ah, sorry, but i cannot fix this, there will be another engineer coming to fix your problem, but youll have to book your appointment (AGAIN!!)". AFTER A WEEK - SAME STORY DIFFERENT GUY..... and I can go on with this, but after nearly a month, SOME SUPER ENGINEER came and fixed the problem in 2-3min.
Calling Virgin customer service is HELL. EVERY Time you will have a problem, youll have to call them and spend some additional money on the call (the duration of which will take you AT LEAST 30min, why? because you have to explain to one of the staff, whats the reason of your call, next he will transfer you to another department, again youll have to tell the same story. WHEN the second department cant handle this, in most situations they wont, you'll be transfered again, and again.....).
Once I even got to the manager, told Her that I am not happy with their services, and told her that I am going to change the service to some other internet service provider - didn't seem that She cared, because the answer was "OK, go ahed".
Honestly I could bore you all to death with similar stories, but the bottom line is, I WOULD NOT RECOMEND IT TO ANYONE, not even my worst enemy.
