Disastrous. Having charged £20 to connect a new washing machine, they refused to disconnect the old one. Once I had got the old machine out, I left them to connect the new one. I came back downstairs to find the new machine connected and switched on. The door hinged the wrong way so I said it would not be suitable. The delivery man told me that as it had been 'used' (ie he had turned it on) it was non -returnable.
I ordered a camera for my business, but when the invoice arrived there was no VAT on it (which I could claim back from HMRC). I emailed simplyelectronics and they said they weren't liable to VAT, which is odd as they are a UK limited company based on the Isle of Wight. So I phoned to cancel the order because it would be cheaper for me to buy from another firm who included VAT in their price. The EXPECTED waiting time for a call was 12 minutes, and judging from other people's reviews, is likely to be much longer. I am very glad I paid with a VISA card so if there are any problems cancelling the order I can get my money back. So far, not very good.

I am very sorry to hear about the issues you have experienced with the connection of this appliance.
The appliance can be returned within 10 days of receiving the appliance - as long as only the test cycle has been carried out and no detergent as been ran through the machine, when our connection service is selected.
